Met BB King about 50 years ago. He spoke over 2 hours with me. A Gentleman willing to help educate a young fan. Will always be grateful. Have since met other guitar heroes including the late greats Lenny Breau and Danny Gatton. Still Love the Guitar and count myself blessed.

I have been a musician since the 1950s and fell in love with hard rock and blues in the early 60s. Never lost that feeling since. My son is now one of the best guitarists in Ontario and loves this style as well. Everyone loves the blues at some time in their life. Anyone who plays it ......please keep on picking.

I was a BB fan and loved this jam (Thrill is Gone) when I was 16 and now at 71 back to playing guitar a few years back and working on this one. Blues ain't never gonna' die! :) (thanks Big Mike G!)

Been listening to the blues since 1970 and playing the blues since 1972. Sat in jam sessions all over Australia and in the US. BB King is in my top 5 all time Blues players. If it were not for the Blues I would not be alive to tell this tale.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I saw Robert Junior Lockwood perform in downtown Toronto at a Bar Lounge called Whistlers. It's no longer there. I also saw Pinetop Perkins perform at Albert's Hall in Toronto. It's no longer in operation. I also saw Eddie "Guitar" Kirkland at a place called the Silver Dollar. I saw some other legends like Ruth Brown, Laverne Baker, Nappy Brown, and Big Jay McNeely at a place that no longer exists called the Purple Onion. Those were the good old days.
