Mr. Bungle, whose Halloween 2020 streaming special, “The Night They Came Home,” captured the Northern California-born band performing songs from their freshly released album, The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo, interspersed with behind-the-scenes footage, surprise cameos and a few surprise covers, release the nearly two-hour film on June 11th.
“The Night They Came Home,” which was directed by Jack Bennett, is available as a CD + Blu-Ray, CD + DVD, VHS, and digitally. The CD portion features remastered audio, while the film features Bungle’s performance, Neil Hamburger’s opening set, three official music videos (“Raping Your Mind,” “Eracist,” and “Sudden Death”), as well as extended behind-the-scenes footage. The VHS release, limited to 1000 collectible copies, is an edited, performance-only portion of the film.

Mike has influenced generations already. I've been a fan since I was 15, when that fuckin video hit MTV. He even has a Bungle shirt on in it, too. I wasn't two years later every bass player in high school had a copy of Bungle's first, when Quote was still "Travolta" on cassette.
the voice...he can do everything from pavaroti to grindcore....one of the kind...i love the other ones too ...but mike...amazing!!!
This song got so many riffs...you can create an entire album.
It's inspiring to watch Trey Spruance play this song. He pulls it off almost flawlessly despite it being so hectic and complicated. The conservation of movement in his hands makes it look effortless, but it's really just excellent guitar technique.
He and Rocky George (Suicidal era) have a similar lead style

Patton always staying busy has provided me with some of the best music for decades. Tomahawk, FNM, Fantomas, Mr. Bungle are all great original bands.

Saw the Bungle show right before the pandemic. I have been to a ridiculous number of shows in my life. Had never seen a musician so damn happy and having such a great time on stage. He had an ear-to-ear smile the whole show.

amazing that Pattons voice has had this much longevity....most other metal vocalists went downhill in their 30s already
It's because he hasn't constantly been wearing his voice out doing metal vocals. If he keeps this up it'll surely go but it's cool that he can do it so well at his age.
He sang in different bands for years, has one of the best vocal ranges in the genre.
I'm glad people dont hate on this shit. It's good to see them having fun and recreating such an old rarity of an album. Good on them, more bungle than bungle because of how unexpected it is.

I absorbed every molecule of this, recalling Disco Volante tour 1996, me a high school reject sitting on a spiral stair case smoking a BeeDee an Indian cigarrette made from bay leaf in the Valley in Brisbane waiting for Bungle to go on. I was next to a a tall dude with speed dealer glasses who appeared behind me and was smoking a clove ciggie like the old goths did. I thought I recognised this guy, but didn't want to stare, or be seriously uncool and say..dude do you I know you? with in 30 minutes I was standing in front of Trey Spruance who had donned a stocking and poured a bottle of talcum powder over his head as they ripped into my Ass is on Fire...my life was changed and enriched for ever. If there is any justice in this world I shall mosh again to Mr Bungle and it will be glorious. One of the greatest shows I have ever witnessed.

For a moment I thought it was Danny Heifetz on drums. At least for a moment. But Lombardo fills his shoes at 100%.
They are all having a great time and have such a great chemistry but you can tell Scott is having the time of his life! that's the thing about epic bands like this, if you don't have chemistry, IT FREAKING SHOWS!

It's crazy to me that the first time I heard Mr. Bungle was when a friend of mine had us help him hijack the DJ table at the 1992 band camp dance so he could play My Ass Is On Fire. We all got kicked out. I think that was my first actual experience of being a "bad kid."

I bought this concert on CD/Blu-Ray immediately upon release. This concert is one of the AMAZING things to happen due to Covid restrictions!
Such an amazing lineup of musicians this band have and The wrath of the easter bunny demo is definitely my favorite metal album of 2020. Cannot wait for the next Mr Bungle album.
