This is one of only two songs I know that uses a typewriter/projector as an instrument, and the other might actually be something else. I wonder why there aren’t more songs that do.

I know this is late comment but this is Amazing Cover! I have watched all of your videos and they are great! May I ask what the name of the blue synthesizer in this video, please?

thank you so much! means a lot to hear that! of course, it’s an organelle by critter and guitari! very fun little synth that you can use as anything you want!
After looking at the description, I couldn't agree more. By the way, could you share the sheet music or even a video of you playing the left hand of this piece.

I did the whole song by ear and can't read sheet music (yet). But the red toy synth with the red background in the beginning and the piano keys are the ones playing what would be the left hand if you were to play the song on a piano. It might be a little bit hard to se exactly what I'm playing but you might be able to figure it out if you look closely. When the gray toy synth comes in I play the pretty much the same thing as before but on the organelle synth instead of the red toy one. One important thing to note is that the red toy synth is tuned a whole step, so when I play a C on it it's actually a D. Hopefully that can help you a bit, but you can always ask if you need any help!
Oh! I'm learning this song as well, and I learned the melody (mostly) by ear. For the chords, though, I had to ask around for sheet music (which I also cannot read well).
good job! I read in an other comment that you did this entirely by ear... i'm trying too but i can't find the left hand!! if you have any suggestion to improve the musical ear... anyway you did a fantasting job in mixing all the parts togheter. sorry for my bad english (i'm italian)

+Pietro Paloschi Thank you so much! You don't need to apologize for you english, it seems great! Not that I'm the best judge (I'm from sweden). If you look in at the red toy synth with the red background it might help you a bit with the left hand! Also read the other comment I wrote about, I go a little more into detail about the left hand there. And the thing about improving your musical ear is pretty much just practice, practice and then some more practice. I've done it a lot over the years and I'm still not exactly great at it. It took me quite a while to figure out this song!
aaaand three years later youtube recommends this to me! Thank for making this was awesome!
