Louie and I were from the same hometown. Lot of Polish people lived there back then. I saw him many times at Pulaski Park in Three Rivers, Mountain Park in Holyoke, and later in Ludlow at the Polish American Citizens Club. Always professional and put on a great show. I miss those days a lot. Greatest musician I ever saw
Good old Polka fests with Happy Louie and all the rest of our great polka bands. Seven Springs we went twice a year..................Now my wife and partner is dancing in Polka Heaven
These Polkas bring me right back to being a kid. My church, Sacred Heart of Mary, JERMYN, Pa. (About 12 miles north of Scranton, Pa.) was right across the street from my grandmothers house. Every summer they had a picnic, which was the highlight of the year for us kids. What great memories. I miss those days dearly.
I only seen him once in seven springs when i was 20 years old. Loved him then and bought an album.. Great musician. Love the music. Brings my heart right up to heaven. A real gentleman.

I'm from Ware also. Julcia is my Mom's 1st cousin, so that makes her my 2nd cousin. Louie was a really awesome dude. R.I.P.
What great, joyful, memory-filled polka music! May it live forever!
