Squeaking Orthotics fix

Sometimes your orthotics will react with the bottom material of certain shoes. This may cause squeaking but it’s easily remedied. Watch this short video that gives you two options to get rid of squeaking.

No, they squeak right out of the box. Does the tape still work even if the inserts are brand new?

I have actually used some deodorant. I have a white stick deodorant and rub it where it is squeaky.
Will need reapplying after a long while.

Every pair of shoes doesn't have that option..Especially if the soles are built in

I would like to know as well. My birkensto is are unbearable because they sound like a fart every step, so frustrating

If your sandals squeak, it’s usually you are sweating and it’s creating a farting type noise when you walk…..try putting deodorant on the bottoms of your feet or have the top cover replaced to a different material

Are they moving when they squeak ? If they are they are not supporting correctly? I cannot see taping the leather portion of my orthotics (the footbed portion)

The squeaking happens when the orthotic material reacts with the sides or bottom material of the shoe

I have an even better solution!! Just by the Dr Scholls work insoles they don’t have plastic bottoms that trap air.
