@@5-Volt Just including goblins would (presumably) mean significant race-specific dialogue and quest progression because of the prevalence of goblins in the game's first area -- though, considering it's Larian we're talking about, they probably don't even see that as a significant problem.
The main thing I want is the subclasses from Xanathar's and Tasha's. I've been playing 5e in person for years and I'm just kinda sick of the system in general, but the novelty of the newer, weirder subclasses would go a long way to freshening up the experience for me.

I love how vastly different controller vs keyboard UI is. They really did make sure that controller players would have a good experience too!
Larian are champions. They brought the best parts of the Divinity: Original Sin 2 engine with them to make BG3. I guess you can do amazing things when you're a privately owned developer.

At first I thought Rissa and Wawa would fck up because it's their first time playing, turns out Calli and Biboo are the one fcking up, rolling nat 1 and being a loot goblin.
To be fair i roll shit rolls stupidly alot idk if I have shit luck or host just has roll disadvantage.
Bad luck happens, that’s out of their control for the most part (except save scumming lol). Nerissa also kind of messed up at times. But honestly all that doesn’t matter; all of those shenanigans are what makes this session fun and unpredictable after all.
Yeah fucking up is not a problem as long as they don't do it on purpose and ruin others' fun.
Fucking up rolls is fine, trying a roll in the first place that fucks things up for everyone else is when you have a problem.
Also, they made the decision to turn off karmic dice -- that's a deliberate choice that they're choosing to take the consequences of.

It was a overly chaotic stream to watch/listen to which drowned out the story a little but they were having fun exploring and thats what made this stream fun in its own way i hope the rest of the party do there own single player playtroughs so we can see them all shine in their own way
that's pretty much how BG3 multiplayer works, since it's not necessarily a party traveling together uniformly but a series of things happening to up to 4 different people.
Every party needs a loot goblin. Always. 😂

When I started playing Divinity, I was a bit overwhelmed too, but I think that’s kind of part of the fun, just learning the mechanics as you go.
I mean I would've tuned to an actual pro if I wanted competent BG3 gameplay. I'm here to watch them make the funny.

It's the consequence of having knowledge gaps between collab partners. Biboo and Calli have the experience while the other two are newbies. Kiara at least plans to play solo to take it all in. I hope nerissa does the same. They are also aware of the pacing issues (based on twitter), so they will resolve it amongst themselves.
Yeah, they should've let Rissa and Kiara kill the weak mobs on the tutorial ship, and experienced all the cutscene while they can just sit back in the beginning, they just too eager I guess.
Calli stats: 17 13 14 9 13 10, while odd numbers are just a waste of points and give no bonuses

Half stats have 1 benefit to them, they let you take a half feat (a feat that also lets you increase a stat by 1) and get full benefit for it.
Though that’s a moot point when she has so many. It’s only beneficial in a core stat

can't mention wasteland and not mention fallout 1 and 2
Glad to see they all had fun. But if they're going to finish the campaign, they need to communicate or the game will get annoying with people touching everything or progressing the story and no one is ready. Everyone split up and did their own thing, often leaving Kiara behind when they all tried to regroup to progress story. I've seen streamers pull off making a large group work and coordinating, they just had to communicate their actions and consult the party.
I hope this group learns that and can make it through the whole game. Though I kinda doubt it cause it's a long game, so scheduling commitments will be tough 😬
Yeah gotta play more like tabletop with a group. Have discussions before big things. Only occasionally go off in random directions separately and don’t leave anyone behind.

Looking back on this I feel bad about giving my friend an earful for his kleptomania.
He’d take anything not nailed down… in full view of everyone. But I don’t think he ever looted the dead in front of their comrades or stole the obviously important idol.
On the other hand his penchant for friendly fire was totally worth getting annoyed about, I can only take getting a cloud of daggers to the face so many times.
