I think this is 1979 or 1980 . That is when this programme Anhaar used to be aired on D/D. I remember how eagerly we used to wait for anything that would come on TV those days. Even at that time this great singer was known to every Kashmiri .

what caught my attention is the looks of both ( Singer and anchor). young, innocent , clear , calm yet energetic and charming... i am sure Mr. G.N Azad must have watched this video during those days and the result is evident.. from Dev to Azad..
@waqaswadoo Mr Azad did not need to watch the video, they are both from the same region of state (Doda). Shameema's father Mr Mohammad Abdulla Dev was an famous educationist of the valley.
I am a fan of Shameem Azad. I enjoy every song that she has sung, however I fail to understand most of the Kashmiri vocabulary in this song especially the last verse, " Gunchey zan naer pateth pher genzan pardeh tcheteth" and the middle one " Meh neutham chooreh dil mastooreh kortham......". Can anybody write this song down in full, I will be grateful.

That is incorrect. Shameem Dev Azad is from Srinagar. Mr Azad is from Doda.
