Hobi Giving BTS His Unique 'Mental Care'

- Hobi seems to have a unique approach in giving mental care for BTS. Jin previously shared that Hobi takes care of their mental health. But Hobi's mental health care is more than just making BTS smile and giving them warm hugs.
All of us have a favorite body part. I believe Hobi has a thing for the chest area. Hobi offers his mental health care for BTS anytime and anywhere. Even during a formal event. Hobi couldn't even contain himself from giving Jungkook his "mental care" during a competition. Even when BTS is discussing stuff, Hobi gets distracted by their chest.
Anyway, BTS is quite aware of Hobi's unique way of giving mental care. In fact, they've been careful around him when they know that their chest is exposed.

When they were in the first dorm they realized that Hobi would touch his chest and arms in his sleep.
He stated that his mom would use this to comfort him so he could sleep when he was small.
It’s a self comforting tool that he still uses💕💜💕
Yes, I second this. It’s all his mother’s fault for putting him to sleep stroking him on the chest. Jimin or V was it that showed us 😂
Isn't that the sweetest? My mum used to play with my curls... funnily in university, a friend of mine used to do the same. I think it was soothing for them... like petting the dog😄. Side note - that purple velvet suit is just... chef's kiss. One of my favorite J-Hope looks🥹

Clearly he does have a thing for chests but I think the reason he rubs there chest when providing mental care is because he seems to find having his chest rubbed like that calming. Also this whole video made me finally realize exactly why I believe it was Yoongi told him they would all be shirtless when to try and get him to come work out with them when they were all asking him to that one time. Though with all of there bare chests on display I doubt our Hobi would have been able to focus much on the workout. We all just saw how flustered he gets if one of them even wears a shirt that's a bit lower cut or tighter than usual lol.

I recall JHope saying that the reason he touches his chest during sleep is because his mom used to soothe him that way as a kid. So it may be his way of mothering or nurturing his BTS brothers too.
