I have never heard a more detailed and discreet lecture on Nafs than this. The future of Islam lies in the West.
No it wont, your listening to a lecture in English that uses English that will only give you a rough translation of the Quran where as in the Middle and far east they eat Arabic for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Nefs means getting upset or down or angry for paying for something in money or value after thinking or longing to get it for free, not paying anything at that moment. It’s thinking someone deserves something for free but being have to pay for it, paying it with cash even, especially with cash.

Subhan'Allah, Shaykh Hamza spent years studying in Mauritania under Shaykh Murabit Al Hajj amongst many others. He is, even now, the student of Shaykh Abdullah bin Bayah, also one of the pre eminent scholars from Mauritania. Shaykh Hamza is a member of Ahl Al Sunnah Wal Jammat - the people who follow the practice of the Prophet (saw) and the consensus of the community/traditional scholars. As such, he is duty bound to love and respect the Sahaba/Companions of the Messenger of Allah (saw) - may ALLAH (swt) be pleased with all of them. Foremost among these is Sayyidina Bilal ibn Rabah - may ALLAH (swt) be pleased with him - the Companion who used to call adhan for the Messenger of Allah (saw) - who was from Abyssinia. And you, sir, see fit to utter a calumny against Shaykh Hamza about this. Ironically, I want to thank you. You have shown me the truth of Islam, admittedly inadvertently; you follow the dictates of your ego/nafs with absolute delight.
