- Absent Father Showed Up Before My Wedding, Begging to Walk Me Down the Aisle for $75,000. He Then Told Me About His Terminal Brain Tumor and His Regrets of Abandoning Me.

"I dont want your 75k"
"Your a spoiled brat"
How does that even work🤣🤣
Drunkard logic
If only she'd had a father present to teach her how not to be
@@blindbrad4719 ???
@@blindbrad4719are you the dad? That makes no sense
@@MumwaWIt makes complete sense.
Grandpa was also probably a cheater himself. I have yet to see someone defend a cheater and not be one.
Another thing might be that he never got the full story or he refused to believe what they were saying, thinking that it was some sort of exaggeration. Only once it played in front of his face did he realize that what was being said was all true.
Only a cheater defends a cheater. That is a fact of life
@@RandomTrinidadian that is not true, a parent could defend their cheating kid because it is their kid. There are many other reasons people might defend a cheater. None of these reasons are justified but not all people who defend cheaters are cheaters.
@user-nu6oy3nq5m there's no point in logic here brother. These channels and the Reddit that inspires them are all for trauma dumping, that's it. You aren't going to get thoughtful responses to your comments here.
maybe. but either way, it’s good the grandpa was able to recognize his mistakes and work to repent for them
the best part of this story was the grandpa recognized his mistakes and decided to make up for them.
Screaming at and insulting your daughter’s partner are definitely the actions of a repentant man. It just sounds like he wants someone around so he’s not alone when he croaks, and it just seems to him that op is an easy mark. I wonder how sorry he is for his other child? It definitely sounds to me that the only regret he has is that he has a brain tumour.
The difference with the other child is, however, that the other child was the result of a drunk one night stand (affair), and OP was the result of the love he had for OP's mother and their relationship.
Not that it excuses his behaviour, but those situations are wholly different, and only one was, realistically, "his child" AND was also treated badly by him in their life.
The affair baby never met him, never contacted him, never had anything to do with him and so was not mistreated by him.
like seriously. he would’ve never approached her if he didn’t have the tumor
@@artemislove2941 Yes, but as the story states, the main reason he never approached her at all was because he was afraid of becoming his father. And that an absent father is better than an abusive father.
But the tumor and him realizing his life was about to end makes him want to make amends and right the wrongs etc. Fairly common after such a life-altering event.
There is a reason they are referred to as "life-altering" as they radically alter you life.
💯👍🏿
If that was indeed true, he would have gotten together with other wnm… he remained single knowing he’s a bad dude. The mental state of ppl who know their date of dth is not as simple as u think. I hope u get yours so u know the feeling.
Wow, this is just sad overall 😞 , glad OP is going to therapy
I've lost an uncle to a brain t----, and it's one of the worst ways to leave this world, both for the patient and the people around them. I almost feel bad for the father, especially after reading that he distanced himself to protect OP from his own anger.
He just want someone to take care of him when he’s dying and think about him from time to time huh
Exactly
Shoulda not walked out on 2 children if he really wanted that
@@Dmrgamingdoesgames yeah he shouldn’t do that, plus the other kid (as the op said/know) isn’t involved in his life from the beginning
Honestly i dont think thats the case here. I think its more the regrets of a dying man.
The dad is just sad. Broken people hurt other people. He’s as much a victim as the OP is. Everybody is hurting here. And it’s sad. I hope that man found peace.
Yeah. Even though his past trauma doesn't justify most of his actions, at least we know why he is the way he is
i know he has done horrible things but i can't help but feel sorry for him he does not deserve to have Terminal Brain Tumor
I feel like the guys an idiot, not a jerk. He was turning into his abusive father, and wanted to keep it from his daughter, and left. WAY better ways to go about it, but I can't imagine the feeling of turning into what you feared most. your father, an abuser, so I'll cut him some slack.
@@xhytecodm judging by the age, he's a product of his generation that doesn't acknowledge mental illness
@@HughJassMarioFan2009explanation does not equal justification
I couldn’t stop crying when the father tell her his story
This is messed up tf 💀
Yeah, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it was legit. Yes, lots of Reddit stories are fake, but some are real
I was driving while listening to this. I almost cried. This is NOT how we play this game, Reddit!
Put him on mute? People like that is the reason for block button.
The dad here realizes he lived a crap life, and is desperately trying to end on a high note.
I think Op in therapy should check this ASAP and coldly. Dad is using her for sympathy and trying to die with some kind of redemption knowing what a failure of human being he is/was.
People can give that kind of sympathy in exchange for 75K, a house and a car.
idk, the fact that he kept all the photos and letters made me believe he's indeed messed up in the head and got no medical help
Fr its a little too air tight to just be a sympathy issue @@dmartins00
How did Kylie send a message from her dad’s phone when she’s 28 years old? Was it a voicemail? There wasn’t text messaging in the 90s.
Texting was invented in 1992
Or how dad just sent a message without having the number, but after that it's never adressed again.
He was obviously very wealthy to afford one of those phones 😂
@@NeoLotex it a small village thing, some gullible "the family should be together" idealist in the village props gave it up

Ouch 😢 poor baby :(.
This actually made me tear up and i rarely im talking RARELY cry at these
this makes me very thankful for having a good father
The story was messed up but it turned out ok in the end ig
Bro should have just gotten therapy and all of this drama would have never happened
In the story, it said that bills were piling up, meaning he couldn't afford therapy; booze and cigarettes are cheaper than a therapist. It's not right ofc, but regardless, he could afford it.

You are a spoiled brat
?????
One of the few times I feel bad for the dad. That man had an abusive childhood and is a fruit of the generation that made man just suck up their thought and not go to a therapist.
In all honesty, I don't care if it's written by A.I, it's worth to listen to
I feel like the guys an idiot, not a jerk. He was turning into his abusive father, and wanted to keep it from his daughter, and left. WAY better ways to go about it, but I can't imagine the feeling of turning into what you feared most. your father, an abuser, so I'll cut him some slack.
Fuck the the reconnection between the daughter and father got me misty eyed.
ik that OP said that she and her dad had curly hair and green eyes but i js imagine the dad as Toji Fushiguro/Zenin from Jujutsu Kaisen
Atleast she colid have a court marriage the only thing he wants is seeing his daughter getting married treat it like his last wish
This is one of the few times I’ve felt bad for the ah. Not at the expense of OP mind you but at least he ended up with that realization eventually
Dude the father in the beginning is an horrible person. He got married to her only to cheat on her multiple times, have two children, one from his wife and one from someone else. Also what was the grandpa on? Why is he defending him? At least he ended up realizing he was in the wrong (he also didn't want to get kicked out). I feel bad for 12 year old OP. Like bro just wanted to see her father and invite him to her birthday party. He really drove her to her house and told her mom to keep her away from him. Like dude, if you cared about not hurting your daughter, you kind of failed from the beginning, and especially there. Then he pops out of no where and like "Oh your getting married. I always wanted to walk you down the aisle." Like dude, your haven't been there for her for over 20 years and you think you're going to walk her down the aisle? Then he gets mad because you didn't invite him. Like what did he expect? Also, I think the funniest part of this was when she said, "I don't want your $75k." and he responded with "You're a spoiled brat!"🤣 Like dude, that got me laughing I think I broke something. Either way at least she found out why he really wasn't there, even though that doesn't mean she forget what happened, she can at least stop thinking it was her fault.
going to draw and a new vid popped. awesome !
From Bad Grandpa to Super Grandpa
Story 1: OP dad isnt sorry he abandon OP. He just wasnt want to die feeling like a piece of ****
Just brcause he dying, dont mean he is owed anything. And that includes forgiveness
So are most of these stories from different people? Either way great content! 👍
This about broke my heart. I have nothing witty to say.
The number of people in this story who need therapy is quite huge
He went about this in wholy the wrong way. Mortality does strange things, but he still handled it in a way that shows his true character. Selfish.
Hurt people hurt people.
I'm not even mad anymore
W dad.
Who the fuck is chopping onions in my car at 6 in the morning
I don't know if your father is still alive OP, but I'd only agree with his demand but only if he tells you about your half-sibling.
I'm not crying, you're crying
OP, has a gd mother n grandmother.
God.... he just keeps piling it on, and on, and on!!
How dare he even? o.o
he wasnt nice to her but feel bad for him ngl
well i got teary eyes and this is not cool ._.
Is today’s theme cancer?
2 outta the 3 videos for the day, you have a point.
The dad's parents were probably also serial cheaters and when the grandmother got pregnant, she probably wasn't sure who was the father that she found the last guy she was with and forced him into being the father even though he might not have been the father
I'm a spoiled brat am I 😂 if only I had a dad present to teach me not to be… 13:52
I would forgive him
Haha 😂 “church friends”
Damn. She really was just a small town girl, living in a lonely world…
Saddest story I have heard from reddit.
These effing doormats….these op’s are so annoying.
I want to known about the half sibling.
you could cut 5 minutes off this bloated story and not miss anything
That’s aí for you
Then I got bored and stopped reading...
I won't get into the medical details… Convenient 🙄. Even more convenient than someone getting a payout from their company that isn't at fault 😂
The amount of delusion this dad has in this fake story is crazy.

Nobody ever seems to want to go to a trade school and start making high 5 figure sized incomes in less than two years . . .
6 figures in 6 years & 7 figures if you are really good and start your own business.
The dad is a piece of 💩 but I do feel some sympathy for him. It always sucks when abuse victims allow their abuse to warp them. Like just because you were abused doesn’t mean you’ll become your abuser! You cannot allow these monsters the power to warp and break your spirit into becoming just like them. The best revenge is being happy! Instead he pretty much self sabotaged his life, broke the woman who loved him more than anything, and traumatized his child by making her feel less than and… hallow for most of her childhood. Like goddamn they all got the shitty end of the bargain.
Made me tear up. Honestly, I hope OP hears her father out.
*Cough* manipulate *cough* *cough*
Where is the other kid (op half sibling)

Yeah see I'm sorry I have no sympathy for the father I have a deadbeat father my father actively chose to not be involved in my life I've spoken to my father exactly three times since I was 4 years old and the last time I talked to him I had no uncertain terms told him I never want to hear from him again and hung up on him excusing the behavior of a crappy father just because that person decides he wants to be in your life now that makes you a doormat
Sounds like a him problem, I wouldve taken the money and ditched tho cuz like, PAY BACK but thats just me.
