01:38- since patch 1.15 (27th july 2022) the objective to grapple eddie in the turnbuckle does not work if hes facing you, you must turn him around so his back is facing you and then grapple and do a light strike- thanks wimpymemerzz in the comments for the work around this might be fixed in a future update.
The match is Rey Mysterio Jr vs Eddie Guerrero for the cruiserweight championship at Halloween Havoc.

The corner light grapple took me an hour to figure out and then I turned him so his back was facing me and then I got the objective

The game doesn't do a good job explaining exactly how the moves are done. For the running dive, I was trying to do it while we were both outside the ring.

I understand the moves easily... ish. I'm still learning.... but the more you practice.. the easier it'll be to understand the type of moves.
Guys theirs a glitch in the trap eddie and do a light corner grapple bug but to fix it turn eddie around and press circle and square and it completes it

This match was so unbelievably annoying to do. All these complicated moves took all the fun out of it for me.
Especially the DDT one, spent a good half hour on that alone 😩

I’m getting stressed out about the dazed on the ropes
I have Xbox series x. For me, I had to actually clock L stick in while hitting x for it to work. I tried just flicking the stick 100 times. It worked first try clicking it

To do backflip get Eddie to lines then press circle and move your left joystick to right and press X

One mega detail that was left out, is once you have eddie up against the ropes, you must grapple him first then do the combo....

Eddie is on the ropes. I do point the left stick away from him and press X (PS4) and Eddie does the whip. Wth am I doing wrong?
For the DDT it keeps Irish whipping eddie into the ropes and does the flip over the back deal
Once you got eddie on the ropes , hold the analogue stick away from eddie and press either A for xbox or X for Playstation

@@darkhero2114 just read on some other CZcams video that you can still complete the challenge by turning Eddie around in the corner and then doing a light grapple. Had no chance to test it yet but multiple people replied that it worked.

Bro I’m new to this game how do you place Eddie into the corner and perform a light attack. I’m stuck on it. I tried to Irish whip him into the corner but he won’t stay there lol
You can either beat him a lot so he's slower to get out of the turnbuckle or to drag him into the corner when you grapple batista hold LB on xbox or L1 on playstation and that will allow you to drag him to the corner

I beat this one and it got deleted so I had to start all over anyways I beat the Halloween havoc one it gave me the Rey Mysterio 96 suit but it did not give me the mask what am I missing here why am I not getting the mask I only get the suit but not the mask of Rey Mysterio I like that mask cuz it has a crown on the front and a scar on the back how do I unlock it what did I do wrong

I’ve done this exact move over 50 times and it will not “complete”. Is there something special I should be doing?
Since the last update it does not work as intended, a workaround is when Eddie is in the turnbuckle, turn him so his back is facing you then grapple followed by a light strike

grab combo is similar to a fighting game combo as long as you press the grab button as the 4th button press, it will do a grab combo , for example pressing light attack 3 times followed by a grab will do the grab combo
Does doing them on legend difficult give you something good?
No rewards are only from objectives regardless of difficulty

i spent 30 mins stuck at the grab combo and still can’t get it to work it just does an irish whip or neck breaker and the neck breaker doesn’t count for some reason
Well irish whip when playing on xbox is holding b while grapple you lightly tap b perhaps that might help.

i do everything else right its just when i grab instead of doing the combo it just grabs his head and puts eddie into an irish whip
it sounds like you are pulling the analogue stick, just tap any sort of combination of quick, heavy or both and make sure the fourth move is the grab button.

If I may help, I had dragged Eddie towards the middle of the ropes (NOT the corners where the turnbuckles are). In order to drag the opponent, you have to press circle/B to grab them then hold L1/LB. Once you accomplished that, try your best to drag Eddie towards the middle of the ropes. (I had used to back ropes to make things easier for myself, but whatever makes you comfortable). I then pressed circle/B, pulled my analog stick towards the opposite direction (in this case since he was on the back ropes, I had pulled it towards me) and lastly pressed X/A. I was able to complete the objective that way.

perhaps you are doing strong irish whip that will make him bounce off the corner, just push the analogue in the direction of a corner, or you when hes stunned and standing you can grab him and lead him to the corner as another possibility.

yes you can just beat Eddie and win the match , the objectives you can do are optional and they reward you with unlockables and count towards Achievement/Trophies.

The grapple button is what you use to grapple the opponent, on the Xbox it is B on the Playstation it is Circle
