In this SpaceEngine video we are searching around the galaxy to try to find earth-like planets.
It's always nice to see a fellow space enjoyer who appreciates the beauty of the Universe. Amazing video.
Hi
No one asked tho
@@astronomical.2316 No one asked for your comment
Yeah same

My two biggest wishes for SpaceEngine is waves/tides and volumetric clouds (on both terrestrial planets and gas giants). Would love to see some monster waves on some of the aquarias the game has.
In my case I would love having the mountains cast actual shadows on the landscape (they don't do that atm) and blood red lunar eclipses (atmospheric refraction)
Imagine how terrifying it would be to witness a gas giant eclipse on that planet. Like: “mommy mommy! Why is there an eye In the sky staring at us?”
ok that actually scary
I'd find it breathtaking and amazing.
That would litearlly scare the crap out of me
My bind is blown after seeing how Space Engine simulates everything
5:06 was beautiful, earth like planets are amazing
What about earth
I just found you a few days ago and honestly love your content I recently got space engine because of you.
very cool 😃
same I also got space engine cuz of him
same
same with me actually
I wish that saw the case for me because I love space but it cost 24.99$ and I got 20 dollars from my great grandma sheer for my birthday but the extra 4.99 I don’t think I have
Spacechip: *Finds perfect habitable planet in 1 minute*
Nasa: *Takes 4 months to even have a chance to find one*
They are randomly generated

The atmosphere of the planet at 7:30 isn't breathable because the partial pressure of oxygen is 0.7 atmospheres, which is too much. If you breathed that concentration of oxygen, you would eventually die of hyperoxia (exess of oxygen in your body)
That being said, the maxium amount of oxygen humans can withstand with acclimatization is a partial pressure of 0.52 atmospheres, but even that would still present some symptoms of oxygen toxicity. So the best range of partial pressures when it comes to breathable oxygen concentrations without acclimatization is in between 0.16 and 0.36 atmospheres
Even ignoring O2 tho, CO2 is also high enough that it is IDLH (immediately dangerously to life or health), so not very good.
There's also SO2 that is toxic and is too high too, but that's more of a bug than anything else and it's something that present in 99.9% of all earth like planets, so it can be ignored.
Go to the planet Kepler 22b
i started a war
why is elon musk’s thinking about teroforming mars when he has earth 🤦♂️
@@driftwavez he is concerned for mankind something might happen to earth
@@driftwavez we want to terraform mars but we can't even fix our own planet
Everyone laugh at this comedian

I've been in the discord since u were at 900 - 1200 subs and I have watched almost all of your vids since I found your channel keep up the awesome work, you're one of the few people keeping me interested in space
Holy made another 10k subs in less than 2 days. Gongrats🐐
Thanks for making this, this is really cool!
Oh wow, this is really cool! Reminds me of a nicer looking universe sandbox! This game looks so awesome!
Most (or all, can't remember) of it is made by one person too
@@catpoke9557 oh wow.
Here’s an idea:
*Don’t want tidally locker planets?* Make sure that the Rotational Period < Orbital Period
12:03 binary gas giants in a binary systems. I haven't seen the whole part but it would be cool if it had binary moons
I saw a planet that apparently has life in space engine that has a red moon red atmosphere red water and reddish star im not kidding i actually found this and im pretty proud of my self for that find
Edit:it looks like dathomir
Wowwwwww
8:08 might be the earth 2.0 we are looking for
I love your videos
Btw I'm a new subscriber and fan FROM NOW
Can you soom into Earth on space engine? I’m new so if you already done this before can you PLEASE do it again?
Love your content and always will I also love your profile kinda funny
I just saw your videos about 3 days ago and I got space engine because I saw you playing it amazing content😃
amazing video chip
It's a good day when Space Chip upload
fr
True tho
4:26 *🤓🤓according to my cauculations this makes sense the plants are look red cuz the atmosphere is green 🤓🤓*
Bruh
Edit: i just realised some ppl will think this is a hate comment so just to clarify this is a joke lol
At 8:26Those canyons look like Minecraft mountain biome💀
Suggestion: fly to earth’s biggest ocean fly till you see lamd
I found a planet named HIP 80043 4 and it has marine life and it looks realy similar to earth.
Idea search the kerbol system and see all the planets and moons (is the ksp system)
Are these planets from the catalog of known planets? It looks like many of their properties are made up since we can't know that much about them yet..
It's randomly generated
@@SaulusTheGoodMan oh okay. Some planets do seem to have the properties we found them to have, hence my question. Thanks;
Very very sharp consequence I love it 😊 11:03
It's amazing but how does this game know that there are planets far out in different galaxies, that have life on them? Anyways I love this, have fun!
They are randomly generated.
@@BaryonyxGuy ok makes sense.
"would be decent with 55°c"
No, thats the highest ever recorded temp on earth. In death valley
Nah, it's normal in astronomy
@@SaulusTheGoodMan Yeah, but stil not decent for humans and that was my poin
@@scorpion2245 Yea but a different type a life for that temperature will probably delevop
the music coming from Mario and lung inside bowser give me memories
PLEASE DO MORE SPACE ENGINE
This game be in development from 1828 💀💀💀💀
love ur vids
The river at 6:44 kinda looks like The Nile in Egypt, Earth
If you can see this, kepler 22b is a ocean planet that is 2.4 times bigger and orbiting a G type if you want to check it out
Make Stephenson smaller than pluto without turning it into a rocky object
I found this CZcamsr like 2 days ago and I already like him, subscribing
7:32 this atmosphere composition would KILL YOU. There is TOO MUCH oxygen at that pressure, a good example would be if we doubled the atmospheric pressure on earth but kept the same composition (20% oxygen) you would undergo oxygen toxicity. (this is because you take in more air per breath)
Also CO2 is at 1.7% which is poisonous at such a high pressure (making it relatively 7% or so) meaning breathing this atmosphere would most definitely kill you after breathing it for at least one day, so I'd score it at 40-50 (especially considering later facts).
Also, the sulfur dioxide, while at a low concentration still, it is present within the atmosphere and would make it irritating.
Whats also interesting to note which wasnt focused on for some reason was the fact the planet has a rating of 2.6Gs which is... pretty high. With such a high gravity it'd be hard to build tall structures, land on the planet, take off from the planet, do aerial travel (although the high atmospheric pressure negates this). Just uhh, I wouldnt live here ever.
Is this a simulator or game? And how accurate is it? Pretty cool either way
It's a simulator. It has every discovered star and planet, and has procedurally generated things that don't actually exist. However, the real stuff is pretty darn amazing.
Any planet that is tidally locked gets negative points for me, except for ones that are tidally locked to one star in a multi-star system, and therefore sometimes get light on their dark sides from the other star(s). Those can be pretty interesting.
There is a small twitch streamer i know calling me calvin instead of kaveen, your name reminds me of him lol, keep up the content!
7:02, Tell a four year old that this is Earth and he wouldnt know this isnt Earth
Hey Space Chip. In the this planet has the biggest rings. When you discovered KEPLER-452b. You found the most Earth-like Planet. Oh also. Try making the system
Luv it!
The planet that you gave us score of 32 should be a little bit lower because I saw the temperature it was 46°C
That will soon Be earth's Temperature anyway
Can you find rovers on mars? Try looking in Space Engine
Ummm since when are there other planets with life on them and also how do organisms develop without any water because I'm pretty sure that's a big key because I'm pretty sure that's a big key Factor in the production of life
My dude got computer that can render the whole Milky way(you have a new sub!)
the game is actually not as hard to run as you might think. and also it's the whole universe and not only milky way.
You just made like a Jumb of 10k subs bruh Good job
Can you go to other galaxies and try finding earth-like doesn't matter rather is a gas giant whatever it could be
Planets i forgor
You should look at tres4b and tres2b those two are my favorite planet
gotta ask question that planet is like 6 ly away how do they even get exact shapes, mountains, rivers in it or its just an assumption?
Its Generated, so Not an actual planet
idk those planets might not have tectonic movement
Just discovered you recently. Your videos are amazing and ngl I recently downloaded space engine and universe sandbox just cuz I found out about you
Here are my new personal scores of these habitable planets from 1 to 100:
0:52 My score: 28
1:34 My score: 22
1:48 My score: 16
2:26 My score: 43
4:07 My score: 67
6:25 My score: 94 (best one so far)

8:45 My score: 52
9:29 My score: 58
10:33 My score: 76
12:16 My score: 63
this is just my opinion guys
6:25 would kill you with its atmosphere and has a gravity of 2.6G's, I would put it fairly low.
do you mean the atm mass@@uv-al
Hey space chip Can you make life on Hells
Comment on universe sandbox
Keppler-22b is
A earth like planet
can you make a vid like a tuturial how you download space engine in steam unlocked
please
2:26 is just nevada but with a bit more water
Pluto Has An Atmosphere
2 days ago u reach 10k subs now u gained 8K subs!! Wow
Woh This Video Is so popular that they made it a real thing the esi
Space Chip literally got 10k subscribers in 2 days.
the most earth-like planet is that one planet that have moon btw how did they find that many stars
Suggestion: Try To Terraform Mercury In Universe Sandbox 2
Amazing but when will you make Kashyyyk from star wars
6:37 nahh that’s kerbin from Ksp 1
Found your channel through shorts! The game looks awesome, I love finding other people who love space!
me too!! glad i did, too!! getting back into space has been fun
same i even got space engine thx to this guy
I'm giving you a score 500 (400 times more).
underrated
holy cow this man’s nose… otherwise super entertaining to watch and makes good videos
thanks, you inspired me to get this game!
Here's an idea for a videol Is there more out there in Space Engine?
You know there's no life on that planet, right? You know, cause there kinda has to be o2 in order for life to exist? 😂
These videos made me buy SpaceEngine, its such a fascinating game. I love it!
Thanks for posting another video!!
Question is there like collisions to it if not they need to have an update on they need to add it like asteroids can go as big as earth if so it will be my new favorite game
nah but u can do that in universe sandbox. this guy has videos on that too
I know
But it would be nice to
Does universe sandbox use 100% real information on existing celestial bodies or is a significant amount fictional
I wonder if people would walk into nighttime if they missed it, we could develop night vision!
Pan you have a point
What's the name of the planet that got 74 points what's the name?
what game is this it looks so cool
Space engine - and i do agree!
0:20 "little cloud" XD
I. Like. That. Some one. Also. Enjoys. The. Universe
2:23 thats.. not how it would work, it would be several 100 degrees on the light side if not 1000, if you call that having life sure
You’re growing so fast yesterday you were at 10k
I have a question, is these actual planets or no?
in milky way and andromena galaxies stars and planets are real and outer is like generated by the system using all the scientific researches.
What is the planet with purple sand and big canyons? I saw it at minute 4:13 in the video. Pls write back soon.
TOI 700 E the second Earth NASA was found
2:47 that looks that titan surface image
5:13 so beautiful ❤
9:57. the moon has a blue atmosphere
The planet at 7:08 kinda looks like Kerbin from KSP
