I fortune enough to be in a crowd when MJ was leaving his hotel while on tour with his brothers and it was Mass hysteria from the moment he and his brothers stepped out the elevator til the limo took off. Getting that limo out of there without any screaming fans getting ran over was a challenge all in its self. Girls were surrounding the limo and wouldn’t move. MJ took it in stride. This was when his “Off the Wall “ album was out. He still hadn’t completely left The Jacksons.

There will never be anyone like Michael. Not in our lifetime anyway. I miss him still & I'm just a nobody, I can on!y imagine how much his kids & family are doing. I don't think there's ever been anyone like him -- so talented & yet so tormented from his childhood by his dad & yet he rose above him and everyone who wanted to hold him down. He became bigger than maybe even he could have thought, but it was bc of him, who God made him to be. His voice, dancing, creativity, stage presence & his huge, loving heart made him the King of Pop. I truly believe he was happiest when he was on stage, almost as if he was born on stage and the world loved him. But when some people in that world decided to manipulate that love & twist it for their own personal gain, it took pieces of him. A little more each day & I think it hurt him terribly & that hurts to think about how cruel people can be.
I pray & hope that he knew that even though those people did what they did, they are a very small number of people compared to the millions or billions of us around the world who genuinely loved him. 🙏💖
He is so good with his fans although it was so normal for him to be surrounded by so many crazy fans wherever he went I wonder how he was always so calm and humble with them. He never got irritated or frustrated. that's amazing. We can't find celebs like that today
He did get frustrated sometimes but just good at hiding it lol , also it's because it's all he's ever known. He was so used to it from age 8 or 9

MJ had planned literally everything. After This Is It, there were talks of him preforming at the Superbowl halftime show again, then he was going to focus on directing feature films. According to one of his sound engineers, he'd decided not to release albums anymore but instead release singles every few months to later compile them into albums, because he thought that everything going digital meant that albums wouldn't be sold as much anymore.
In short, the best was *indeed* yet to come, but some people ruined it all.

Seeing footage like this really ignites a swell of pride for him. I'm so proud of him for not only his talent and achievements but for who he really is at heart, what he stood for, his endurance when misunderstood by those asleep and after all he's been through, held onto his integrity and remained steadfast in his light and love. He's a real hero and always will be mine. The bravest man ever.

This was literally every day for 40 odd years. I'm so proud of him. He was my youth and everything in-between. I'm so happy fans were like this still even after 2005. The media wanted all his fans to abandon him but no one ever did. The lies about the booing in 2006 are total crap too. This man was famous to famous people. An absolute mega star. People say today's stars are bigger...never ever will they ever attain MJ level of fame ever. The man was a phenomenon. He changed everyone's lives. He was a hero to billions. Miss you MJ.
I remember when this show was televised and I was at my grandmother's house with other family members including two of my aunts. I was 11 and was outside playing. One of my aunts said "Michael Jackson is on" and I came running in the house to watch. I remember wanting to see him perform after he said "You haven't seen nothing yet!" But it wouldn't be until months later that we would see him perform for the tv one last time for his 30th anniversary show

I held his hands and I said how are you doing Michael. He answered slowly I'm OK.. With a hint of exhaustion from the mental torcher he had been through. He smelt very nice and his face looked great. His nose was obvious but he looked good. I thanked him and grasped his hands then got off the black Mercedes van. I think about it often. I feel bad he lost his life and yet still can't believe we spoke one on one quietly in his private space in 2006. X
