Great vid, glad to know the road is partially open. The birdlife/frogs were amazing the places you stopped at. Just wonderful country!
The frogs at the first spot I stopped were crazy loud. Didn't get to see one though 😫

Another great ride Phil. pretty dry out west, or anywhere for that matter. Glad to see the Drop-Bears didn't get a hold of you! We may see a couple up towards the Rocky River. Loved the video mate! The Ritz are a great little camp snack 🙂Although, I usually prefer not be seen when the night falls (unless I run the risk of being run over), that night light seems like a decent idea. I will try something like that on my next outing. Thanks for sharing! Stay upright 🙂

It's awesome riding out that way, we loved out trip to Kaputar, straight West from Bundarra.
If you stay on the West side of the Namoi, Warraba Nat Park has great farm roads and stunning, rocky passes leading into it from just North of Manilla and there's great camping places in there.
That was a good spot you found for camp mate, great stuff!

I live in Bundarra, ride the area all the time, rare to see vlogs on our town and area, love your work The spot that you camped at is known as the Emu Crossing, where Emu's used to cross in their droves, and they were still crossing here up to 25 years ago

7.9lt is only a little bit more economical then the 650. How are you finding it having the reduced load capacity on the 300?
Hi mate. Noticeable difference in power- 27 hp compared to 47, so to be expected, but it's enough to go anywhere. Fuel on my DR was 18 kays per litre, the Honda 29.4 average, so a fair difference there. Both fun machines, but very different 👍
@@MidCoastAdventures oh wow the Honda uses more fuel? My 13 dr used to run 4.4 litres per 100. I find most bikes have around 400kms range max
