- Hello beautiful people! In this video I talk about my progress so far in Capella University’s RN-MSN Flexpath program. I am pursuing a master’s in nursing education and I am currently halfway through the 16 course program.

Good content! I’ll be starting Capella’s RN-to-BSN with the Accelerated Masters Program option (3 Master degree courses in replacement of 2 BSN courses) program on January 9th.

Thank you for you feedback. Yes, please more videos about the classes, any tips, what prerequisites are needed? Do you currently have your BSN or you went straight into the MSN. This was a great video with helpful information. 😊
Glad to help! I have posted a new video on the beginning courses with the instructors. I will be posting tips on how to finish the RN-MSN Flexpath faster very soon. The minimum prerequisite is to have a RN degree either ADN or BSN. I went straight into the RN-MSN Flexpath route bypassing the BSN.

Hi Nurse Nana, I wanted to ask if you have to do a practicum or capstone as in the BSN?
Hi. In the BSN path a practicum is not required. It is required for the MSN. Hope this helps!
Thanks for sharing if I am understanding this correctly with my ADN I can do the RN-MSN I dont have to do the RN to BSN first?
That’s correct! I went straight from ADN to MSN with this program. You don’t need RN to BSN first. Hope that clarifies your question.

I am a new Nurse, and I want to skip the BSN and do the RN- MSN program. Is it a good program 🤔 how much it cost you?
I enjoy the program very much because it is my own pace especially being so busy with 3 kids all under 8 years old and other responsibilities. I’ve been able to complete 12 classes so far & I will be entering the 9th month. The cost is affordable too because you only pay per 12 week term, but you can take as many classes you want within that 12 weeks same price. So if you decide to take 1, 2,4,6 you still pay the same fee

Hi yes 135 credits or 90 semester credits is required.
