In WA saltwater, we only get 2 hooks.
We get 7 rockfish each - 6 fishers?

Do you guys bleed the halibut ?
Awesome catch. What did you use to get it out there? I have been trying with octopus and sardines but only got a little chicken halibut. 👍
2lbs copper pipe Jig with size 12 treble hook little bit of a herring on it.

Fishing with 3 lures in Washington is illegal and you kept 2 fish that are federally protected
those are called sablefish not pacific lingcod.

Sablefish are more of a blue/green/black back.
In all my years fishing Neah Bay, I haven't caught either out there. 9 million rockfish and plenty of lingcod etc.

I was raise like you take care of the family first and they will take care of you I’m from the azores islands of Portugal raise to fish and outdoor activities that’s why I stayed here in Washington State after I got out of the army now I’m getting a divorce and selling my house and moving selling my boat and other fishing equipment
