    I’m excited to see what Nolan does next. The speech scene from Oppenheimer was a little glimpse of what a Nolan horror movie might be like, and THAT would be really cool. He would knock it out of the park!

    Shows how classy but also media savvy Nolan is. Takes a question of mild criticism of his work & thanks the filmmaker for loving his movies. Absolutely perfect response. There’s no winning arguing over criticism. I loved Oppenheimer. It’s perfect for me as is. But certainly not for spike in one particular case.
    If this was Tarantino; he’d be losing it at Spike but Master Nolan handled it like a professional champion!!

    Let me tell you guys a short story:
    I went to the theaters with my parents, and we all didn't find the movie entertaining at all, i found it really boring and i thought there was as lot of dialogue instead of action like the movies we're used to see.
    But i found myself going to theaters 7 times to watch this movie, because once one realizes the masterpiece this movie is, you cannot go back.
    This isn't about the Bomb or something else ( which btw it didn't make it to my expectations) , but it's really about the story and the Oppenheimer's point of view, and once you understand the movie and the message behind it, you realize that this movie truly is a work or art.
    A Masterpiece to be remembered for generations to come.
    Ps. This movie has the greatest score i've ever heard in any movie EVER, made by Ludwig Goransson.
    10/10 a real masterpiece.
    Thank you Christopher Nolan.

    I think given how controversial a decision like that was at the time of the real event, given modern day voices who would never let Nolan hear the end of it if he only dabbled in the horror of it and didn't fully depict the true travesty of it, plus the voices who would never let him hear the end of it if he did, I can see why Nolan might opt out of going that far.

    • @alexlanyi2329
      @alexlanyi2329 Před 6 měsíci

      It wouldn't really suit the narrative I think. And a film like this doesn't need a big scale destruction gore and stuff like that. Sometimes a few film tricks are enough to depict the horror that happened. It might leave some viewers unsatisfied, but in the end it was the right choice for it to be a perfect film
