This is a great idea and I am so glad to know if this company. Seventeen years ago I ordered directly from a grower for my wedding and it was such a money saver, sadly the grower had to stop selling this way because of government restrictions. I am curious, how much did those two boxes of flowers cost? My wedding flowers cost about $500.00 and I got about the same quantity. This would be a wonderful resource for my church.

Jennifer Michel no time for that! I’m lucky if they get a quick trim before water. ;) but if this was for a big event or wedding...I would totally process first.

I checked out the website, which is AMAZING, but it seemed like I could only order in a minimum amount of 50 which is pricy and way more flowers than I'd need. Is there a way around that that I'm missing? I've started getting into flower arranging for showers and parties and usually fit up Whole Foods and Trader Joes but this would be so much better!

Caroline Ramos I made this Friday and it’s today is Tuesday. The poppies don’t look great but everything else is decent. But no. Rule of thumb is if it’s for an event you want to make the afternoon/evening prior or day or if possible!
Ashlyn, this is so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing. I have a question regarding using floral foam. I read that it’s extremely toxic. Is there a brand that you recommend that’s more safe? Or are there any precautions that you take? Thanks!
Yana Wilmot I haven’t done any research on a more safe option… However I don’t use it too often so I am not bothered by it!
the only other options would require you to use some sort of dish or low bowl that could hold enough fresh water for the flowers and foliage. Many floral designers use coated chicken wire.
But if you wanted this runner look you could always make a garland from greens that would hold up well without water, and then use water tubes for the flowers and tuck them into the garland.
Simply Curated Thank you for the suggestions. I’ve never tried chicken wire but I have used the tape grid method. The foam is so much easier to work with!

Hey just wondering how much ordering all the flowers cost when I went on the website there are slit of minimums so it looks like you have to order a lot of flowers at a time
Hi there! I've asked Petal Driven about this...stand by! :)
From Petal Driven: We do have a few minimums listed on the site on certain flowers like the Ranunculus and poppies, which come in 50 stem minimums, but we are working with some new farms that will help us lower those minimums. For some of the other flowers you got, the minimum is just one bunch (10 stems for lisianthus, 20 stems for roses). We're trying to get the minimums as low as we can, but for right now this is the best we can do to keep the costs low for our customers.

I went to the website to see about how much it would cost as I am looking for at possibly doing my own florals for my wedding and for everything that she used here and doing the minimums it came out to over $500.00... not sure how much she had left over but hopefully this helps.
