The female judge was honestly making me so mad. The way she would do these face expressions and just laugh during the whole thing made me just feel bad for the Asmrtist's. Imagine showing people something you like doing and they just laugh at you...

Grace knew all the terms and the community and that really showed her expertise, and I think it shows her further thought into the community and people new to it. People new to ASMR are really hesitant and can easily really dislike common sounds but it came across as self insecurity rather than adapting to a typically harsher audience. I’m also not a fan of eating sounds and Sharon did so well I would have placed her as the amateur as well.

No, he just straight up sucked. Making random noises is not ASMR, it has to be a trigger, either to relax you or make you sleepy/calm.
I dont have the tingles like others do, I just get relaxed and calm, and eating asmr does that for me, not weird sexual mouth sounds or
hearing a hairbrush be used, weird stuff, but I'm sure everyone has their own asmr type. I only thought eating asmr was the thing, until
people came out with the other ones, which I was surprised by. Maybe he could stick with eating asmr, as that was the only slightly good part.

The judges didn't have any knowledge or exposure to ASMR prior, and personal triggers even if they were unaware of what that is, can greatly influence their scoring.

The judges were not laughing at the people, they were reacting to the sounds.

They were laughing just not in a mocking way but in a “I don’t know what to do” way
the judges didnt even tried to relax. everything they did was joking around with allegedly "funny" face-expressions. they overreacted to the tiniest noise. it was annoying to watch and it disrespects the artists.
also the speech from the guy who promoted this mobile game was so generic and staged. for no-one are the graphics the number 1 reason to play a MOBILE! game
In response to the mobile game, it quite commonly can be the No1 reason. If you install a game that has awful graphics you're most likely not to play the game.
If you're a graphic geek then you could install apps to see what the graphics are like and if you can do better graphics from the inspiration of the app.

I dont get what they mean by fraud ,for the most part I'd say an asmrtist is just a person who makes sounds that sound nice and how can you objectively call someone a fraud while they do exactly what a pro will do.
@@alphabane3873 Because she never did asmr, at least publicly. The expert did for 3 years. While the amateur I don't know why was called at that, maybe the fraud wasn't even into asmr considering how she talked at the start?
Anyway, doing asmr isn't really that random, although she nailed it, some things you have to learn about, like intensity of the sounds, the way you move and how much you're gentle, or also the triggers you do which I guess the "fraud" one got the best ones on purpose
I think it's just what they considered themselves to be. In my opinion, ASMR triggers are too subjective and varied to properly explain them in one video. If I recall correctly, Grace mostly does audio triggers. She would probably not consider herself to be an expert when it comes to visual triggers.
All three had very different styles in this video and you really can not compare them at all and the reactions and estimations of Motoki and Mel show that pretty well.
Yeah I wouldn’t consider her a genuine “fraud” since she appears to be very familiar with asmr, but it seems clear to me that the metric they use for who is the expert, amateur, and fraud is really just how much time and dedication they put into it. As they described themselves the expert is simply an expert because she works on her asmr content full time, while the amateur likely makes fewer videos in between his higher priorities like school. So naturally the fraud is only a fraud because she’d never performed it before.

no, just listening to her made me think she was the fraud. Grace was clearly the expert, no doubt, but the amateur had some technique, creative triggers, with the only difference being that he never talked, which is why they rated him fraud.

Dahim Fatima usually asmrtists wear headphones so they can adjust the audio and fine tune their actions to get the best sounds. Try playing an instrument with no sound coming out, it’s not the same thing
bradkicks a Not at all. The point is for the hosts to figure out the expert, amateur, and “fraud”. Personally, I think that was poorly chosen word, maybe they should have had two _experienced_ ASMRtists and one who’s never created it. In any case, truly good, well-produced ASMR requires not only headphones to be able to hear and optimize the sounds you’re creating, but also post editing for noise reduction to remove ambient noise from the room. I’m constantly, consistently, and continually amazed at how many ASMR channels are full of content that have had zero noise reduction applied before uploading, and once you notice it, you can’t forget about it and it ruins the whole experience. They didn’t bother to clean up the ambient noise in the ASMR audio here either.
