My wife’s 2022 1.5L Cooper we’ve had 6 months, cracking little car. The sport mode makes a big difference to performance, it’s like a extra turbo kicks in 😀The rear seat can placed in a vertical position which means the shopping bags fit in easily.

Just got my brand new Manual JCW 3 door in white and love everything about it apart from the steering! or rather the self centring. It maybe just an issue with my car, but after turning a tight corner the self centre is very slow to unspool and quite often needs to be manually returned. Also, when in a straight line it feels “sticky” about centre where small inputs don’t recenter at all and you have to keep recentering. Has anyone else experienced this? I didn’t test drive the car but would strongly recommend prospective buyers having a long test drive as this could be a deal breaker. It makes driving around town and along roads with a lot of corners hard work and not very pleasing for a small hot hatch!
