I don't usually play Big Body characters but for Morde, I would make an exception. What other Heavies do you guys want to make it into PL?

That ult pitch is just too perfect! Mord definitely works, and the Vaseraga comparison is on point! another champion I've always wondered about is Sylas!. a move thief in a fighting game sounds very interesting, a lot can be done with that idea and I struggle to find similar characters in other fighting games.

The more I think about him I keep leaning Shoa Khan of stealing things on the spot but also having an ult that has a bunch of Champ abilities in one like Khans in MK 11.... I love that one so much.

My guess is he could function like Shang Chung from the MK series? He is all about stealing moves from others so they could do something similiar with Sylas also because of his chains he could have long ranged normals such as Dhalsim from the SF series or Scarecrow from Injustice 2

3:06 the reason it's there is so there even able to use them, if not they could be easily cheesed by the oppent using a faster attack, so it's put there to apply pressure and counter fast based characters, not completely win just helps. In some cases the attack deals a ton of damage against targets than are light.
Would love to see Sion and Azir be implemented (also Urgot, though I have no idea how that would work)
Azir as a "puppet" character would be great! And Sion too, he could just be a bigbody/ Heavy character and carry alot of what he already does quite well actually!

I'd love to see irelia, I imagine her being able to chain dashes like Beowulf, and having floating swords opens a lot of design space, although i have no idea how youd work her ultimate and passive. Theres no minions so maybe you need to build up a bar by doing regular combos/using her other abilities to charge up her dashes? Great content as always

i'd love to see a concept for a really unorthodox character like a yordle or non humanoid.
Thanks boss! I would love to work on a few of each, and see what riot does with them too! Yordles would be tough to balance but certainly do able and I think this game has to have a few non humanoids there are so many good champs to pick from.
This concept seems very cool but i would change a few things like making obliterate give a hard knockdown on hit and a ground bounce on counter hit for big damage and have the down version be a slightly quicker launcher/combo extender instead of a low to make him more of a strike/throw character instead of a high/low mixups one since he's pretty much a grappler, his grab should have shorter range to not make his pressure too strong while solo and have a version that can hit airborn opponents so you can get better confirms from anti-airs without needing to use assists.
Aside from that, hope you keep making videos like this one.
Literally the exact way I was seeing him, and needing him, to play WHEN he gets in. Because he may not be launch, but Riot would be insane not to include him.

Zyra Malz would be tough but definitely not impossible - and strangely I think Yorick could work. Definitely some Jack-O style possibilities if your familiar with her in Guilty Gear! Teemo though? I think I would lose half my subscribers haha But eh you know what? why not. :)
I really like it! The way the trailers show Proyect L's gameplay, Mordekaiser may play similarly to characters like Big Band from Skullgirls, or Potemkin for sure!

Your videos look awesome! Man i really wish project L wasn't a tag fighter but oh well! Would you consider covering Aatrox in the future? I think he would be an amazing addition to a fighting game with his spacing playstyle in league with set ups and devastating attacks!

My idea:
- Decent size hitboxes, slow with good damage but has long hitstun times making his combos slow but still do decent damage.
- Obliterate is his highest range tool but also one of his slowest, with a sweet spot near where Nightfall’s handle/head connect.
- Indestructable is similar to as stated.
It’s a limit break mechanic that makes his next attack have 1-2 extra hits of armor.
- Darkness rise would be a super that gives him extra range and a tad bit more damage on his moves for a period that is extended as he lands attack (either clean hits or blocked), basically make the metal whirlwind cause a splash/shockwave effect on his attacks that deals small damage on it’s own but stacks in conjunction with his regular attacks deal big chunks and provide great spacing. You cannot reset the duration by hitting with the shockwaves however.
- Death’s Grasp would be a delayed pull that interrupts at the very beginning. It does not hit close to Mord, and is mainly there to pull someone from across the screen where conventional moves (even of mord’s size) wouldn’t hit.
- Brazil is still his ultimate, it moves the game to Brazil for a certain time wherein Mord has Darkness rise active and the corners cause burn if the enemy is standing in them. As well he takes reduced damage and has his Indestructible active on all his moves.
Possibly if they want to make Mord’s ult very dangerous it could last the entirety of the round. Which would be damn cool since you would be forced to kill him quick or be put in a heavily disadvantaged state if he uses it.

Yea... I think we are all dying at this point. Idk if you follow the PL subreddit but there was a post about Tom Cannon confirming 2 more updates are the plan 2 half of this year BUT he also linked some things to a bunch of job Postings for Project L so that makes me super nervous for some of the things they are asking for.... May be like 2 more years.

I'm not realy asking for surprises, just token confirmations like "Vi will be in" so we have something to actually talk abaut .
For counterplay you could have assists be able to take place during the ult so that if you time it right you can get an assist hit off right as it ends.
And since the ult has a cast time, you could have an assist or tag-in before the cast time completes, you just have to predict it

I would love to see Kayn, in both forms. Q would be a gapcloser and damage tool, W would be a damage range tool, long in Shadow Assassin form, applying CC in Rhaast form, E would be a dodge, like the one in Smash Bros, static dodge and R could be a finisher move on Shadow Assassin form and a self healing move in Rhaast.
And for another Jugernaut Mundo would be great I think, Q to deal small damage and slow, passive to dodge a grab or to be an armor move, W would shock in an area if the enemy is in range they would get slowed, E would be a slap to the ground that makes enemies bounce up and R would make Mundo run faster and have more speed to combo between moves, like less delay between them so he could make faster chains like a character that's not as big. (It's an adrenalin rush after all)

1:19 to extent I guess but he suffers more in his slowness than other juggeraunts because of how his powerbudget is spread, Also because all of his power is in his ult his suffers though a bit less than malphite who has the same problem.
Q:Deals heavy damage only if the target is by themselves, easily blockible by minions and if you have the speed his suffers in hitting none of his abilities.
W:the shield is the only reason it helps, as thats what makes him tanky but it doesn't matter if your oppents leave or with darius just beats you
E: Penitration, thats mostly what he wants out of it, the grab is ok, it doesn't help against divivers but yeah it closes the gap
R: the only way he wins the game, if he kills you he gains your 10% of your stats but that aint much, like those stats mount to being slighty less tougher than a cannon minion.
The part that matters is taking the enemy away front their team into an area with your unfair advantage, if you fight a duilist you die, so pick a weak essintial target like the ADC or Enchanter.

in LOL hes terribly boring and overall bad just like illaoi but hed could be reamigined with something that fits him way better than: press Q or E Q and win/Lose.

I like the concept a lot, only thing I don't think will work is the no assists for the ultimate.
Because it kinda defeats the purpose of a team fighting game and will lock the players out from being able to do a lot of the combos in the game (also might prevent them from healing if it's like MvC)
They might go that route if they add him, but most people don't like characters that lock you out of abilities.

I just wish Shaco would be in Project L he is one of the OG League champions and he would be an amazing puppet character (because of his clone). Could definetly also be a Trapping style character. Using boxes, and projectiles like : Poison shivs. Could also just be a trapper style fighter with a puppeteer ultimate. Puppet attacks dealing insane damage. His Q could just be a tp like Zelda's from Smash. To dodge, etc. And the extra damage by doing attacks from behind could be implemented most likely. Shaco would be great against chunky and slow character like Mordekaiser.
I actually agree he could be a pretty dope character. Some minor steath aspects and traps like joker in MK11 would be pretty sick for him imo!

they either just stand around the background following you or if it's yuumi, they're floating beside you. and they have some buffs. for example
lulu can make you move faster, janna can summon a tornado to knockup the enemy, yuumi can cast her q to chip and slow enemy, soraka can casta silence on the field to prevent enemy using specials for a duration,
I dont think they would go as far as making assist only champs BUT I definitely could see champs with a much bigger emphasis on their assists and interacting with other characters. With it being rooted in LoL really would be great if they double down on how those team interaction work I mean that is absolutely the core of league !

As for the Darius dummy I've mainly used him a few times just because he's one of the few confirmed champs for the game so far

The problem with Mordekaiser is that most of the game will be determined by "Arcane" because most of the champs will make it due to the tv series which I hate and love to see mordekaiser in project l but it will have to be about his popularity in lol.
I don't feel like this is true. Sure, it might improve the odds of previously less popular champions like Viktor or Jayce but I highly doubt it will influence the roster overall. Variety is always important in fighting games and making 3/4ths of the roster Piltover/Zaun champions just seems like an obviously bad idea. Specially if you try to shoehorn in characters like Heimerdinger or Singed who just don't have very good potential for movesets

Also I feel like it's just a solid idea to grab a few champions from each region as this will naturally increase variety and also pull in more ppl bc they will see more of their favorite Champs/regions represented. The game is mostly about the gameplay so they won't be restricted by trying to make a cohesive story in one region like they have to with Arcane.

I always thought Cho'Gath would be the big body if riot were to make a League fighting game. Not just because of his size, but because he feels like a boss in a single player game. His massive healthbar makes him all about battles of attrition. In a 1v1 scenario, his Q is super easy to dodge because of its long startup, but in a hectic teamfight or if he gets the slow with his E, it's much harder to dodge

It would also be nice that his passive is his actual one but grew stronger with every hit on the combo, it would also help balance his damage sience morde should have high damage moves, but having this would make him really opressive and his combos will be short.
With this, you can use combo scaling to naturally power him down in short combos, or go all in with a combo that its main damage is the aura (sience in my take the aura lasts longer and hits faster the more hits you scored.)
This would make it so that you can do the classic
4 hit combo that deals half your hp and uses your hard attacks.
Or
A 27 hit combo that its mainly using your hits to increase the hitstun of your opponent while your aura deals the damage.
That would be pretty insane but dope, 27 hit combo holding someone in hitstun does sounds pretty normal for some tag games I do wonder what kind of power level the characters are going to have for this game!
@@BruiserMinion exactly, since morde is a big guy that hits hard, he doesnt need the flashy 20 to 50 combo, he goes potemkin and does a quick but deadly 7 to 12 combo, but with that he can go for a longer stylish combo that is more common in lighter fighters.

That's a good one too, I like it man! Some of the stone abilities got pretty crazy I should play more Infinite, honestly have enjoyed it a good amount with the little I did play it's a shame it went down the way it did. but frankly I think this game is going to borrow alot of what makes Infinite into kind of a cult hit. The game play is solid, some really interesting ideas for sure! And I actually like the 2v2 choice it's just jarring if your used to MVC3 by comparison with the larger teams

Taliyah would be great, I would love to see her! Sej could be a really wild one, especially if she would still be mounted I'm not even sure what that would look like - or maybe she only mounts up as her Ultimate for a brief time?
I’m bias because I play them but Taliyah could work because she’s basically just an elemental mage. Mortal combat has that earth guy I think and she could borrow similar moves to ice users in other fighting games.
For sej im not too sure but blaze blue put a tank in and guilty gear put a literal bed in so I feel like they can do it it they want

I agree, Ryze deserves a lot of love! I feel like he used to be the absolute poster child for LoL but has fallen off so much now, would love to see him back in the spotlight in this game too!
