The Child Jesus "Santo Niño". The Holy See has granted a special permit to the church in the philippines to celebrate the Feast of the Santo Nino every third sunday of january. the said image represents Jesus Christ as a child. It is the most popular image in the philippines. The first Santo Nino arrived in our country with fernao de magalhaes and the spanish missionaries. The image was given as a gift to Reina Juana, The first filipina to be baptized.
