Kendama けん玉 is a fun and challenging wooden skill toy that originated in Japan over a century ago, and is now played around the world. Kendama challenges and strengthens many physical motor skills including hand eye coordination, balance, and reflex. It can be played by young and old alike. There are endless trick possibilities for both the beginner, and the seasoned master.
The Kendama is made up of the “Ken” (handle) and the “Tama” (ball), which is connected by a string. Kendama tricks are done by variations of juggling the ball between the 3 cups, spiking the ball with Ken spike, and balancing both in new creative ways.
Kendama has become a popular game because of its simple design, its creative yet challenging nature, and its amazing community of players across the globe.
