  • Known as "Milwaukee's Beatles", they were from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. This is their 3rd single out of 11, and they released a s/t studio album on Mercury in 1967. Great vocal harmony!

    This gives a short history of the Robbs--"Race With the Wind" was a bit of a hit in the Chicago area (WLS, WCFL, and the like gave it some play back in '66--I, for one, remember hearing the song when I was a boy.) 🙂✌️👍🎵

    It jangles. Yeah, for sure, excellent harmonies. Just in a little way, I get a Dylan vibe.
    A band that sounded like a clone of The Beatles were the Knickerbockers from
    Bergrnfield, NJ.
    "Lies" 1965 was a dead ringer.
