    As a beginner,how do you find the vowels in a song?
    By the way,a great lesson it was. You've got an amazing voice ma'am.

    • @SingeoOfficial
      @SingeoOfficial  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi! You can print the lyrics and cross out all the consonants! Its tricky to get used to isolating the vowels, you will feel a bit silly as you go but it gets easier with practice!

    This might sound crazy but while I love having some exercises to work on, I would also be interested in how to go about actually practicing singing. Do you just pick a song that you like that is in your range and work on it until you are happy? Are there any good songs for beginners? Any other tips, thoughts?

    • @SingeoOfficial
      @SingeoOfficial  Před 3 lety +3

      Hey! We go deeeeep into this topic in the upcoming Singeo Method. For now, I say pick the song, practice it using the bubble or other warm up/exercises, record yourself singing it, assess your performance, practice trouble areas and repeat. Memorizing the lyrics, actively listening to the original recording, singing without a guide vocal will ALL help a lot with the development of the song. Then, once you have the song technically learned, connect to it emotionally but creating a story around it that has meaning to YOU :) We have a video coming out soon on discovering your range so stay tuned for that! "Can't Help Falling In Love" is a great song for beginners!!!

  • @princessl.d.g.
    @princessl.d.g. Před 3 lety +1

    I get confused on how I supposed to sing words with vowels.

    • @SingeoOfficial
      @SingeoOfficial  Před 3 lety +7

      Try to find the vowel SOUND in the word you are singing. For example, the word "If" is an "IH" vowel sound. So you hold the "IH" sound and avoid singing the "f" part until the very last moment. Vowels allow you to open your mouth and concentrate on a big warm sound whereas consonants are generally closed and harsh sounding. We will definitely be talking about this more soon. :) Thanks for singing with us!
