Anyone who thinks Donatella is a monster needs their head examined. Imagine your brother builds a $4B a year fashion house, you were apprenticing underneath him, your brother is murdered and, while you are mourning and crying over your brother’s death, investors turn to you and say “Sorry about Gianni. So about next season what do you have in mind?” She had to learn how to run a $4B business with no training and design collections to keep the house going. She’s not a monster at all. She’s a beast and a force to be reckoned with. So until anyone does what she’s done. Shut up. Thanks.

Its the age of social media. If you don't adopt by breaking down your walls and making your brand more approachable and reflective of the general society, then you will go out of business. Vogue understands this. That's what new younger interns are for. They give fresher perspective and Anna understands this. Look at Abercrombie and Fitch and Victoria's Secret. Their sales plummeted because they kept a one dimensional view on beauty. They only displayed images of shirtless models, with fit and skinny bodies. People are now all about body positivity, mental health, environmental consciousness, animal cruelty, etc. Brands like Prada, Gucci, Versace, Armani, Burberry, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, and Tom Ford had to either limit their fur usage or go completely fur free. Don't think this will ever happen with Fendi though. Anyway, now luxury brands gotta be sustainable and environmentally green, or otherwise these sjw will come and boycott these brands.
Remember that it’s taken a change in American culture to appreciate and enjoy the story of a successful woman. She had people wanting her to fail for a long time.
I think it has a vile repugnant character and needs to brought down a peg or two!

While her career and achievements are respectable, for someone who is supposed to be a visionary in style and class she's definitely been blind towards herself. I don't support bullying, but I do hope that people considering doing something drastic to themselves take her as a cautionary tale and don't listen to her "being natural is something to do with vegetables" -comments.
People are so judgemental towards her. She is a super smart, hardworking successful female Entrepreneur that is warm and ahead of her time. Love to see Anna laugh, what a great rapport these two women have together.

Gucci is generally the larger fashion brand. In fact, largest Italian fashion brand, followed by Prada, then Armani, then Fendi, and then maybe Versace. Idk. Versace is under Michael Kors' ownership right now. But anyway, Gucci focuses more on ready to wear, shoes, eyewear, perfumes, and accesories like bags, wallets, belts, watches, and jewelries. Versace also has most of these things, but it is nowhere near as big as Gucci in sales. They have a great ready to wear line, but their haute couture is really where they shine, especially the Atelier line. Celebrities in particular are a big endorser of Versace, while Gucci still gets some red carpet publicity, but nowhere near Versace magnitude of Versace. I will say Alessandro Michele did a good job evolving the brand of Gucci. At first I didnt like him, and thought his designs were incoherent, confused, quirky, too detailed to the point of being gaudy, and atypical for Italian fashion, but I gotta say he made the brand unique. There is no one like him right now. Louis Vuitton, probably Gucci's most similar contender, on the other hand comes off as unexciting to look at.
