Sous’s math is on point. I double checked.
*Doug starts to get pissed* everyone jumps in willing to help because any mere mortal would fear Doug's wrath.
Portals, lifts, and huge tires equals lots of broken stuff. Way to embrace the struggles!
And this is the reason why I avoid mud life like the plague lol. Great content but I could feel Doug’s frustration flashing back to my old memories of mud riding and break downs lol
Nice work gents. This vid showed the reality of SxS adventures. Tnx for the good humor in a frustrating situation. Keep them coming!!!!!
Hearing Doug use the word "Hella" was the equivalent to hearing your grandpa use the word "phat". It was great!
By far one of the best of the best of your guys' videos. Took a shitty situation and made the best of it, kept attitudes up(atleast on cam), and kept the humor high.
We had fun dude!!
Well I thought I was high AF til I heard Nick explain how he's not guna get slimed and his giggling confirms my theory #Highlyfe
Wow that;s crazy! Got cold just watching. I didn't see anyone shivering but lots of laughter and lots of patience. AWESOME!!!
Man that was incredible you guys stayed calm and got it done you guys rock
You guys are badass and Sous always cracks my ass up! Keep posting as I look forward to EVERY video you guys post.
Now that's what I've been waiting for awesome video keep them coming
I've done the math. Sous is right. All you have to do is carry the one. The... R... S... 1... Sous' giggling is almost as contagious as pinkeye.
This is my favorite vid you guys have done. It was real and you all pulled together and got it done. RESPECT.
I couldn't stop laughing but i still cant figure out why there was no winch on the stuck razor and he went through a hole he knew he would get stuck in. First tool in the belt always a winch a 4500 winch...period. we ride swamps in florida cant go one day without it. Great video.
"What's your confidence level here bud"
"About 7.5, 8....out if 100" 😆😆
Sucks about the portals, but it was funny to watch.
Need a snatch strap. Momentum of the Ranger would have pulled the Rzr right out and no breakage. Tiger tail is a tow strap, not for extrication.
And now that were done f***n around, Doug will make sure all necessary recovery equipment will be sourced!!!! Awesome vid....
Sous laughing like a schoolgirl, Mudlyfe ice breaking / breaking portals, and playing slip n’ slide in barely above freezing water with your buds. Can’t think of a better way to spend a day! Best bud lyfe!
Love those trails! I learned how to drive out there at about 12 years old,. Good video guys.
Wow, what a pain in the keister! You guys had all the mud luck! It was cool watching mud lyfe go through the ice! Pretty gnarly!
Love these kinds of videos. Real world riding.... would love to see the big "tractor tires" from mudlyfe on the rs1
Worst day ever= best video ever. Always. Just when you don’t think things can get any better!! Y’all are the best!
all that the RS1 is, is an adult version of a single seat offroad go-cart........ I WANT ONE!
I've seen the 2018's going for 12.5 right now
My new SxSblog favorite video.
Just finished watching for the second time. definitely my favorite video from 2018. It inspires me to push my limits. I’m going to make chicken Parmesan and ride the go carts to celebrate the new year. I hope someone at Polaris is watching and appreciates what you do for them.
Best video yet, really enjoy your adventures!
When you all go through the ice it is so satisfying to watch
Shout out from east coast Canada, The Maritimes. I watch every episode, you guys are awesome and you'd fit in good over here. You guys should make it over here; anytime of year is good, but we've got thousands of clicks of really nice groomed trails in the winter with everything you need along the trail ( fuel, restaurants, lodges for overnight, guides) you name it we got it. We've got a super solid off-road community and a lot of infrastructure and support. Everyone should check it out, it's well worth it. I've been off-roading all over North America for over 20 yrs now and godwilling 30yrs more. Thanks for the awesome videos guys.
Thanks for watching!!!!!!!
One of the best videos can't wait to see the portal took apart
Love your videos... Grew up in Michigan and now live in georgia were mud is life. I learned pretty quick we winch people out.. Never pull!
All I want know is why didn’t you give the camera to the girls and you help. Lol. !!! And one more thing is sous part polar bear. Lol. He took that cold water like a champ !!! Lol. You guy definitely need to set up a toolbox. Lmao. You guys are awesome!!!
I run the cams. That's that lol
As a recently married man... I know there’s a story behind that decision and it’s for the best it’s not explained lol. Moooooovinggg onnnn!
Shrinkage?
Wow! I can't believe you guys got out of that one. I felt your pain. Liked!
Sous is comic relief and willing to hop in the frigid water to get the job done.
This made for a great video! Keep them coming guys!
I subbed...awesome video. The struggle was real!
Dam what a hell of a situation that was, glad you guys made it back safe!!
Great learning experience! Also I’ve found when I get water in the cvt it works best to shut the engine off and let it drain then start the engine to dry it all out. You guys are awesome and love all of your videos!
Awesome Video guys
Wow!!!! Me and my boys enjoy your videos so much!!! 👍🏻
Awesome! Thanks for watching Sam! Email us SXSBlog.com@gmail.com
Ill prepare, ill experienced equals you guys, good job on the video. Sous is a champ.
So satisfying watching the ice break
It was WILD in person.
Your guys adventures never disappoint! So so funny 🤣
Now that looks like a great adventure.
I had to tow a guy at mud nationals this year. He had a portal that locked up. Luckily I have the custom splice tow rhino to get him back.
And I thought I was the only one that had bad days ! Thx for sharing!
Glad you kept mostly all the footage, good times
Awesome video.... no offense, think was one of ur best... because was like real time events... and quite educational.
Really liked how you guys adapted to unplanned situations. Was totally great.
(Just like life... live n learn )
You guys are truly awesome. Keep up the great videos. 😁😉
At the end of the day all of us looked back and really enjoyed it.
That's what it's all about. 😉😁
I agree with you Robert Jerger. Might have been the best video yet. You said it perfectly!
Not only did you learn from this adventure guys you put on a great show!!!👏👏👏👍👍👍
Great video, cold and wet. Reminds me of the many rides I've done over the year's
I just got done geeking off the Baja video and Doug not knowing he was missing his sun glasses lends 😂😂😂🤦♂️
Great video as always. Tool kit needs to have at least a extra 20 foot strap to go along with the winch. Carry tires plugs and a small compressor, a can of starter fluid and a lighter to blow tire back onto bead if popped off. Few hand tools. The sizes you’d need for small trail repairs. Breaker bar and socket for lugs. If everyone carries something, you’ll have everything. Zip ties and electrical tape too.
Yo thanks for helping CBOYTV and I love your vids
By far the most entertaining episode yet! You guys are great
Thanks Will!
@@SXSBlog its Bill, but you're welcome!
Someone hasta be the boyscout outa the bunch 🤘😁 Next on sxs blog ✅ Murphy’s Law Trail recovery tools & accessories needed to escape a F*hole I’ve bought stuff on rides sense 09 Rzr 15,000 miles riding and almost never need it but I think that’s why it doesn’t break down.. kuz I have it 🤯👍
Awesome video
MudLyfe is the best unit dragging that tire. What a sturdy unit.
This is the video that made me subscribe. You guys make pretty good TV.
Thanks Mike!
Best video ever !!!!!! Real lyfe breakdowns , real lyfe solutions.. !!!!!!! Nice job
Real breakdowns. Real people. Judge Judy
Wow! She broke! Amazing job of getting her done!
Is horrible that that happened but it was an entertaining video... yeah I feel like mudding is a whole lot of extra work but I'm excited you guys are willing to give it a shot🖒
You guys need a Portable winch, rope capstan winch with honda gx35 engine , amazing pulling power from any anchor point.
Nice video guys of real world mud scenarios. This looks so familiar...I learned the hard way also. Now I only hook up to someone like you did and use the winch to help winch both bikes out at the same time (Use snatch block.). Never will I use the power of the bike again without winch helping lol.
My favourite video too. Just like the riding we do in Nova Scotia.
Hope to see a garage edit where you open up the portal to see what happened! Garage edits are the best and would love to see more!!
“That dream is dead” 😂
I’m new to the s x s game and live near Flint. Looking forward to watching more of your content.
Thanks for watching!
Ice Life! You guys are so fun to watch...
Rescue Safety 1.
Great video. Work hard play harder!
Looks just like western NY conditions. Great vid guys!
Looks like a good muddy time!!!!
I loved this VIDEO so much, I'm gonna get a set of them 5150 light whips from you guy's!
Placed the order! Keep up the HK VIDEOS!
I love win u guys do the rid alone to the spots videos keep them coming
When I go riding (mostly mudding and trails) I make sure to have at least two 30' tow straps, several shackles, a snatch block, and different size tree savers. Makes a situation like this stress free and potentially save the units from breaking.
The sheer number of times you guys mentioned "watch the belt" or "the belt is letting go" in this video is why I am on the "never a belt" bandwagon. Happy to watch your Carnage though. Thanks guys!
Better a belt than a clutch
nailed it.
Only if you burn the clutch out being dumb - the belts burn out during their normal function!
Put 36s on a YXZ and run it through the mud. See what happens.
@@SXSBlog
Would work fine in the mud on mine - I have gear reduction just like I have installed in my Jeeps for technical terrain.
official name for the ranger now is "GIMPY"
Hope you guys do a video on fixing/replacing the portal I'd like to see that. You should also do a video on how to keep water out of the belt shroud. Like better seals or a snorkel on the belt exhaust.
Yeah we already filmed it. And yes, the gasket was cracked on the 1k.
To bad you already got it fixed should of went big lift over them portals
Good job on backing up / I see so many people just step on it
Hi love the vid keep up the great work❤️👍
That RZR looks sweet with those tires on. I bet it rolls smooth.
RS 1 full savage!
Loved it. Sorry for no waders. But really great video. Tells the truth about about riding.
Sometimes it's tough, we all looked back on it and agree'd we had fun though
I feel you Doug! Fun turned into suck in the wet, cold, expensive, great day!!! Break out another couple thousand and keep breaking stuff!
Check into a Bubba Rope, gives you the ability to snach out a vehicle without damaging it. Must have for Mudlife! Great video guys!
You guys have to get a bungee snatching strap im sure you know what they are. If not it's basically a rubber band type strap and you can just punch it and it builds up a bunch of torque without any hard hits or damage and allows you to pull more than you ever could normally.
I'm definitely laughing, but it was a great vid still an u guys got everything an everyone out so all in all it was a great day for yous guys 🤣
best video ever!
Now that what I call entertainment!!! GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!!!!!!
Everyone just wants to see us suffer....lol
@@SXSBlog now way bruh! Just want to see real life. I've been stuck like chuck and it's good to know even the big time famous peeps still have bad days lol.
Absolutely love your videos! you guys are so funny and the videos you put together are so entertaining and informative .. THANKS again from the UK ... keep them coming :-)
I wanna see the rs1 with the tires from mudlyfe. Mudlyfe didn't destroy itself you guys destroyed it 😂🤣😂 "seven and a half, eight out of a hundred" 😂🤣
o u right LOL
Love how you can hear sous laughing is ass off the whole time
Braap, braap, bahahaha, braap, braap, bahaha
Sending you guys some love and support from Coachella, CA. Awesome vids guys!! 🤙🏻
waders dudes! staying dry is to stay warm. Been there know the misery. Great video---proof winches are worth their weight in gold. Don't leave home without em.
You aint wrong Michael
@@SXSBlog was this before or after highlifter testing grounds? I thought y'all would have learned about the waders. Mudlyfe is waderlyfe, lol
Gator waders my dudes.
Can-am should get you guys a maverick sport xmr so mud lyfe has backup, then you can make the rs1 into rock lyfe.
Love your videos. Have always thought you guys were nuts for not running winches on all of your machines. Maybe carry a portable unit that you can hook into the receiver hitch and switch from one sxs to the other?
Great video.......i love that rs1
will be interesting to see a tear down video of what let go inside the portal.
Quick way to dry out belt housings. Kick it into neutral and hold at about 2500 rpms. Warms it up in there and dries the clutches quick. Been there too many times haha snorkels failed or just too deep for rig. It happens. Great video guys. A bad day on the trails is still better than a good day at work.
We did a lot of that, just didn't make for entertaining video, lol
@@SXSBlog haha yeah makes sense. Wasn't sure what all you guys tried. Hate that mudlyfe has given ya guys a struggle. But lifted machines are not as reliable no matter how much you spend.
I love how da "camera" guy gets to direct. Oh man I have to give the "Muddie" award to Doug for keeping his cool with no tool snatch equipment and not dropping the f bomb every 1 second! I bet Rick could have with his bare hands pulled the polie out of the mud hole . I was right there with ya guys just warmer and dry that's all. The other "Muddie" award goes out the the ladies. Sitting there helmets on have I bet a conversation not pertaining the the situation at hand. Well done ladies! As always gentlemen great video thanks for bringing us along. I know beast mode was like hey you didn't take me......
Nick looked so miserable flashing shredy life while pulling the 1000. He puts on a good face. LOL.
Time to do a video on essential gear to carry along on every ride. rope, Straps, wire, tools, tire patches, air comp, first aid, etc.
A good lug all come along is all that was needed here
