  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurled the national flag for the 11th time in a row at the Red Fort. Addressing the nation from the ramparts of Red Fort on 78th Independence Day, he said Indians are worried about the safety of Hindus and minorities in Bangladesh. “We are committed to peace in the neighbourhood; we hope for Bangladesh’s progress,” he added.
On crime against women, he said his government has worked on a “women-led development model,” but he was still concerned over incidents of rape and violence against women.
On the Uniform Civil Code, he said, “secular civil code” is the need of the hour as the existing set of laws is “communal civil code” and discriminatory. During his speech to the nation on the 78th year of Independence, the government intended to create 75,000 new medical seats.
India will witness ‘Viksit Bharat’ in 2047. He says that people of different sections, religions and castes of the nation have shared their ideas for ‘Vikasit Bharat’, he added.

An excellent speech full of positivity and constructive approach. The PM has heeded to the criticism of the last year's speech and made necessary change in approach. Hope the nation will respond in unison and make the country truly great and also contribute to a peaceful and happy world.

Atrocities against Bangladeshi Hindus must be stopped.
What are we doing for that?

It's time police reforms should be introduced to avoid having the police being used as a private army for leaders to misuse, as what had happened recently in West Bengal. Similar situation was in Hathras too. But unfortunately I doubt it will happen

*The Illusion of Indian Independence day* a requiem by Rajesh Hiremath.
We raise our flags, we sing our songs,
And ponder the meaning of freedoms long.
Yet beneath the revelry and cheers,
Lies a question, shadowed by fears.
For what is independence, truly defined?
Is it freedom or merely a different bind?
Our history, painted in vibrant hues,
Reveals a tapestry of complex views.
Italian whispers still shape our fate,
Casting shadows on the notion of state.
The voices of fear that stifle debate,
Keep truth and transparency at bay.
In lands where freedom was once declared,
    Persecution and violence remain ensnared.
Hindus in Bangladesh still face the knife,
Their cries echo through the strife.
Are we free, or is it a new guise,
A different form of control in disguise?
As we celebrate the years gone by,
We must question if our independence is a lie.
So, let’s ponder on this Independence Day,
Are we truly free, or lost in dismay?
For in the heart of our jubilation’s hue,
The essence of freedom must be true.

We need equality and justice. For that we need corruption free India. All citizens should disclose their wealth and to be linked with id card like Aadhar. Income should match with property. No discrimination no castes no religion based quota. All religious should be treated equally. No Mandir no Masjid based development. All have rights to follow their own beliefs and religious practices that should not be disturbed or not promoted political. Education should be same syllabus same boards. Employment exams should follow only one language no local language. Except PM and President all other positions should come through merits and exams. Elections should be conducted on line in mobile apps no physical in persons on the name of democracy. Article 371 to be abolished like 370. People in India can move anywhere and purchase lands settled. Judicial systems need to be renovated urgently. All the issues to be addressed to give justice with operation basis. It should follow number basis . No politicians can influence for their interests that should be seriously taken if any. Farmers soldiers should be kept in higher ranks of social hierarchy and be given facilities. Lateral entry to be given preference in each steps of govt and pvt department. IAS IPS and all central executive services including states not to be given respect but based on their output not by cleaning ass of political people. Many more to come

Our universities should concentrate on research in areas needed by the industry. Say in development of new technologies or materials for batteries. Newer designs for wind and solar powered systems.

75000 new medical seats? Further drop in educational and proficiency standards. He won't know because he's studied up to Class 7.

Why not? Is it not better than sending our children to unknown countries. Why only moneybags should be able to send children to private medical colleges?
You can suggest some ideas as to how it can be achieved.
India is progressing towards having one medical college in every district. It's not going to happen in one day. But it's definitely required.

@@vinayakdeodhar8641 Cut down on population growth. Funds allocated by the state for healthcare should go towards the intended purpose and not get siphoned off by corrupt people. Introduce a holistic healthcare system by which allopathy, ayurveda, naturopathy etc are deployed to treat patients. A hospital should include all these medical branches under one roof. Quality control at every stage. Promote nutrition, exercise and hygiene. Ensure pollution and waste management are executed efficiently. Introduce subjects like emotional intelligence, social intelligence and systems thinking in schools to guide students in their life journey through self control, discipline, comprehensive thinking and psychoemotional stability.

Lol RAGA can't lead himself and you want to hand over the country to that product of nepotism that didn't have to face any difficulty in his life. Every other minority lives happily in India except one & that very same community is literally unhappy everywhere in the world. So No Sir RAGA does not even deserve to be Leader of Opposition 🙏
