i- know. It's been a while, like- idk 5 mounths or sumthing. I have a very good escuse: i didnt do shit and dont have any escuses.
but, deadass, ive been working, yknow, but i kept switching between project, giving up some, continuing others. just telling you that ive been running in circles. But since the last week, growing tired of working on triple trouble, i've decided to revive a project! an old one that you can try to find in the comunity posts. I originaly gave up cause i was really bad at coding and could barely know how to make a stage, but having passed the last year coding, i think i started get the hold of most of the basics.

It seems everyone has unanimously agreed that Prey Mario Mix should be Super Mario World themed. Neat.
I mean to be fair they're both 16-bit

This cover is fantastic! I think it could do with some voicelines after the bull's-eye bill first gets defeated and before/as it appears.
Here are my ideas:
At the start:
"Oh, no! I haven't seen-a a Toad House in miles! Looks like Bowser's gone-a off-a the deep end this time!"
As the Bull's-Eye Bill first appears:
"Another of-a Bowser's traps! Bring it on!"
After defeating the first Bull's-Eye Bill:
"That-a was a piece of cake! Now, let's-a go!"
Adding something like this could help fill the void of anything happening between and before bouts of singing, just like OG Prey has. The "Mama mia!" and lines at the end are an excellent start.
First off, bull's eye bill is a name that ive never heard off, but like it so much that im making it official

Also, the name Bull's-Eye Bill is actually canon for the reddish-orange bullet enemies which follow Mario like a homing missile. If nowhere else, that's what they're called in Super Mario Maker 2!

Note: I've decided to call "Starved Bowser" a "Dragonified Bowser" because that fits Bowser more, and also Bowser is a dragon-turtle hybrid, so for some reason, his dragon side and dragon's instincts has been awoken and drove Bowser insane.

I absolutely LOVE how the Mario mix is slower than the original. It makes perfect sense

By the way, yeah i know that ' technically' mario wouldnt die from that bullet bill at the end, he would just fall or lose his power up. But in that logic even sonic in prey would be just losing rings on impact. :T

Sonic couldnt have had rings, there were none on stardust speedway act 3 and we dont see him collect rings anyways
@@PinanoTheGuy mario uses power ups and he clearly had the flying cape here. Also, iirc, in smw, when you get hit while flying, you simply stop flying instead of losing your power up

The Bullet Bill was genius for this, it has the ability to keep up with mario (if coded right by Bowser) unlike the Koopas and also can be dangerous if you dont expect them which caused Mario's death here. All in all an Epic Cover!

@Gregthefeaster Given that it's reddish-orange in color, it's likely a modified Bull's-Eye Bill, a red-colored, Mario-seeking variant of the Bullet Bill that can change its trajectory in mid-air. It would probably simply turn around if it was dodged.

Notes:
1st: I've decided to call this version of Bowser a "dragonified Bowser" I'll explain why below.
2nd: The reason, why is Bowser's face malformed and he has more sharp teeth visible in his mouth is this theory:
After being defeated numerous times by Mario, Bowser has been coping with a huge frustration. One day, the ammount of frustration overwhelmed him and his dragon side and instincts (for clarity Bowser is a dragon-turtle hybrid), which Bowser always kept dormant, has been fully awoken and took control over him. Because of that, Bowser has completely lost his sanity, and become a bloodthirsty killing machine.
The dragonified Bowser's malformed face can be explained either by Bowser accidentally mutilating himself, when trying to stop his dragon side from taking control over him, or maybe by Kamek's failed attempt to revert Bowser back to normal.
The reason, why Mario loudly exclaimed "Mamma mia" after dragonified Bowser told him, what happened to him, is because, Mario realized why is Bowser like that and maybe Mario also felt guilt-ridden, because he actually has driven Bowser insane, by constantly defeating Bowser.
I will not lie, Starved Bowser Is way more horrifying then starved eggman by a mile... The Reason is unlike Eggman, Bowser is not Just a cannibal but he could, would and will eat every living thing that he is made of meat (I think it's just meat based things IDK)
Plus he isn’t even A human, he’s a big fire breathing tortoise like creature that is POSSIBLY carnivorous, so it may just be his animalistic instincts finally kicking in

Lore wise this is perfect, Straved Eggman being a Human having an obsessed gluttony with eating Mobians, the turns have tabled with Starves Bowser wantimg to eat humans like Mario, but then I shall ask, what role would Toads play in this lore
Probably a snack for Starved Bowser (because there aren't that many actual Humans in the mario games)

Although the idea of prey mario mix has been kinda overdone, i like this take on it. I also like how the thing that takes furnace's place is a bullet bill and not a mecha koopa like the other versions, because lets be real a mecha koopa wouldnt be able to keep up with mario 💀
Also like how mario gets killed at the end because its kinda annoying when people make mario survive this when realistically he wouldve probably died

I'd imagine this work a lot better if Mario and the B.Bill were both flying. I think it's funny that on the ground they're so slow lmao. Good to see a Mario version of this though.
Changes I’d make
1. Instead of the small bullet bill at the start, perhaps it’s a small fire clown car that chases Mario and spits fire at him with a magikoopa as its pilot.
2. Bowser’s clown car would also be a fire clown car
3. Change the background to the underground theme with maybe a red tint to resemble the valley of Bowser from SMW
4. Maybe give Bowser a pink or marouge coloured shell to make it look more in tone with his skin.
Overall this is still really good.

I feel like the logistical flaw in this would be that Mario is in his Cape Feather state, so getting hit would just revert him to Super Mario (assuming we're going off of USA/Europe SMW rules) -- the Bullet Bill wouldn't insta-kill him.
I mean sonic in original prey would just lose rings this is more so based on actual physics then the game mechanics

During the bullet bill part, if you miss, Mario loses the mushroom and becomes smaller, so basically you get only 2 misses during the first part, and during the second part, since Mario used the cape, you get three misses and the misses are replenished

Has anyone else notice when you plug in your headphones or earbuds or speakers into the headphone jack you hear the Sonic 1 credits theme but in the Super Mario World soundfont but when you listen to it without anything plugged into the headphone jack it sounds like a different song or am i the only one?
