    Please keep making these brilliant tutorials showing how to arrange flowers onto a cake. Always the most challenging part of cake decoration … at least for me. Congratulations on your beautiful work.

    • @FinespunCakes
      @FinespunCakes  Před 2 lety

      You can cover the wire by placing it into a plastic straw or wrapping it in a food-safe material

    Hi i just want you to know that I love your content! Can I ask you a question? I’m a student at culinary school and we have to make some decoration from gumpaste and I decided to make flowers from your vids. but the think is we just have less than 3 hours to create the decoration, as far as i know we need the dry the gumpaste for hours. Do you have some tips or can I just make the flowers without dried the petals etc?? Thank you for any help you can provide!☺️

      @@myczn512 it dries very fast so you have to work fast too

    • @FinespunCakes

      Agreed with Martha. Use a bit of extra tylose and it will dry faster. But only add a bit at a time so that it doesn't get too stiff and un-workable. There are a few flowers that are okay not fully dried as long as they are sitting sideways on the cake such as small flowers (lilacs, stephanotis, etc) or spray roses and carnations.
