This is a really valuable video! I’m not in this industry but was a professional decorative painter for many years and went on to open a training school. Our industry had absolutely the same issues and a small group of us tried to set some standards for the industry via similar education. Bravo for you putting this together. Unfortunately, there are always those selling a $25/sq. Ft. Finish for $2/sg ft, but as you said, you just have to concentrate on your own business.
I made pins (buttons) for a councilor's election campaign. Charged them full rate but then donated the same amount to their campaign. They were happy and my skills/abilities were still acknowledged.
Oh man... remember when it was easy to travel to Thailand and the Philippines? Ahhh to complain like this again some day... :) 2nd time watching. Thanks.
