  • quiet recently its been in the news that, A portion of the Achimota Forest is being sold by the government of Ghana. Here are some legit details of the whole issue. The Owoo family claims ownership of the forest.

    Good idea but unfortunately most of it will find it's way to the same politicians and party officials. The government could have offered to pay the compensation in order to preserve the forest but they won't cuz they know it won't benefit them. Sad really

    Do you understand the meaning of Owoo, Owoo means death, why don't that Owoo family come out for every one to see that family, why La is sitting down and all their lands are taking from them, the La land is from Teshi down to the ministry osu people don't have land the osu land belong to La, the people in osu came from different different tribes and came to Seattle there, that's why you will see people from Ada, people from akan they have ewes some from Gadangde towns etc etc, i hope Akufo Addo did not use fake kings and chiefs from jubilee house to use them to rob the Gadangde lands
