I got 3/4 of my stats and actuarial science double major degree done at MSU, with most of my math classes taken. Then, I witness part of the Boston Bombing (so I was a bit shaken) and a professor at my school started stalking me, even at my classes. When I reported it to the school, MSU, they told me I couldn’t continue my studies until I got “mental help.” The professor was eventually convicted for stalking me, so it was in no way in my head like they said. After he was convicted I contacted the school but they were extremely unhelpful and he’s still a professor there. Anyway, I really miss statistics. I’m thinking of finishing my degree still somehow, even though it’s been half a decade now.

That's nonsense. There are so many different Areas where statistics is needed, nowadays including data science, machine learning approaches etc.

I don't think so. The fact that Statistics gave birth to a new field known as Data Science, is a manifestation that it dynamically change relative to industry 4.0.

No, but hypothetically speaking if that were the case you still need people that understand the theories and methods to manage the computer systems that would be doing the job.
