Using multiple timeframes can improve your trading entries.
But the problem is… most traders are confused on how to do it.
For example, one of my subscribers recently asked me…
Rayner, how do I use multiple timeframes in my trading?
Should I be looking at the daily, weekly or monthly timeframe?
What if I have a long trading opportunity, but the higher timeframe is against me. Do I take the trade or skip it?
Those are all valid questions.
But first… let me share with you something important.
Your higher timeframe (HTF) is dependent on your entry timeframe.
For some traders, their higher timeframe could be the 1-hour chart.
And for others, their higher timeframe could be the weekly chart.
Now, you’re probably wondering…
How do I know what’s the “correct” higher timeframe for my trading style?

just lost some money now because i did not have this knowledge. The higher time frame was bullish on my trade but the lower time frame was breaking through all supports then i decided to short, then the trend turned against me. Hey Raynor ...you're Spot on !!!! ...always struggled with time frames ...I only trade on the 5 min time frame, now my trades are much clearer using 4 -6 factor method.

In programming there is a process to add binary numbers called "anding." By far this is the best anding of candles I have ever seen going from a lower to a higher timeframe. Well, its not the not just the best, its the only time I have seen this. Loved it!

Rayner produced another Gold nugget in this video. I don't know why I keep taking this dude tutorials for granted. When I first started out this where I picked up on price action and some common indicators like macd and rsi. Then I told myself it's time to move on and learn more advanced skills. Rayner Teo in both examples , after the downtrend on higher time frames , prices had crossed above moving averages signalling trend reversal. So the trends in both the examples were actually up in the higher time frame. What am I missing

Makes perfect sense. In fact, I trade exactly in the same manner. I look at the 4 hr chart for trend and 1 hr chart for entry.
And does it work better for you?
