If that's a B. Smithi, then i probably got confused with the lighter sides of her carapace lol She must be a B. Smithi of a different color morph just by looking at her carapace.. Or a geographical variant of some sort collected from a different location somewhere in Mexico am not sure??
Its a Hamorii though. A smithi is MUCH more vibriant in the colors and have colorful second knees too, where Hamorii like this one have dull looking second pair of knees.
No tarantula is highly poisonous. They are venomous not poisonous and just aren't venomous enough to kill you. Most species venom is quite mild. It is not from Ceylon it is from Mexico

Smithi's get pretty big.... Annitha's are pretty rare... Pretty sure this is a Smithi.
