This is why I love morning of owl so much . This is why they are my favorite bboys. They aren't boring. They push scale not always by huge power and just by a chart or scale but by technicality and well thought out routines.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but besides footwork, breaking is composed of many moves from other fields. So, according to your way of putting it, flips, toprock, powermoves aren't bboying. They were all added in later on.
what about powermoves? it comes from kung fu and other martial arts? I remember Poe saying this dance is evolving trough out other dances.

In reality Legs was right. Morning of Owl clearly won, but they are lacking in the areas of bboying that Legs values most.

Crazy Legs was just making fun of the fact that they just did another style of dance in a bboy routine. A style that is odd to see for someone who has been in the scene since it started. Morning of Owl showed enough bboying to win, so stop acting like Legs was out of line.

I don't think toprock and powermoves are not a part of b-boying. Flips aren't really if we break it down. They are blow up moves. It's sort of apart of it, if it flows right but not really. I was talking about the swing dance routines. Did you not read my comment?

I agree wit you. Morning of Owl clearly watched a bunch of swing dance routines and bit them. I like MOO, but Legs is right. It wasn't a b-boy routine. Even their form was that of a swing dancer. They either took some swing dance classes or just watched a bunch of videos.
B-boying is not ballroom dancing or swing dancing. This isn't an all styles battle. Although breaking does take from other styles full other style routines, takes away from the dance instead of adding too it. Legs was right to make fun of them a bit.
