I applied some matte HTV to the inside of actual glass when I did an "OOOPSIE" forgetting to mirror when I was doing it to place on a canvas. It came out really good. Just do not get your iron very hot or apply too much pressure.

So I can do reverse permanent vinyl to glass for a picture frame?

Almost if not all solid color vinyl is the same color on the adhesive side and can be applied this way.
