Very nice... the anvil doubles as a quench tank!
Thought it was a fun thing to do 😀
Utterly Amazimg Roy! Visually stunning and beautiful- both the ice anvil & the S hook... but as relaxing and artistic as the video is... I miss your running commentaries and oh how a good RoyRant can spice things up! Great job, God Bless and Keep hammerring
WHAT!! ... 2 more forge welds that didn't have the heat instantly sucked out while resting on a cold piece of steel ????? No one will believe this! This must be some sort of trickery!
Definitely a ton of tom fullery
Chilling Twist!!!!
Very chilling 😎
Post-heating the anvil - that's new!
lol I just lost it at the ice quench from the anvil 😅 love it !!
Haha quenching on the anvil, that's great!
Thought it was a nice little touch 😁
LOL No Pun Intended!! @@ChristCenteredIronworks
Awesome project. I've done a handful of basket twists just to see if I could do them. Never thought about making a hook like that. Very cool......
Very nice. If my back gets better ill have to try that. Thank you
Hope your back gets better soon 🙏
That ice anvil may not have sucked the heat out of the hook, but that adjustable wrench sure did.
The wrenches have a tendency to do that
I'm not a fan of forging s-hooks, at all... But I dig this one
You got to give this one a go next time you go live 🙂 it's fun but also a little bit difficult then it looks
That's one COOL anvil.
(Obligatory dadjoke is obligatory )
Lol love that obligatory part 😉
That ice block anvil has proven to me. How hard-headed I can be.
You have proven Before my very eyes.
How the anvil does not Draw much heat away from the work. And here I am still having trouble believing it.
Your not alone in that assessment... Many folks have watched this series and just absolutely rejected the results. I'm Glad you might be coming around 🙂 this hunk of ice definitely surprised me in alot of ways
Fact remains one could set a thin hot peice on a ambient temp anvil and watch it distort from the heat transfer. Curious thing! Gonna move forward with different eyes thanks bro.
vraiment jolie, merci pour la vidéo =]
Thanks for watching
I like it! My question is... Where did you ever get an anvil ice block? LOL! Anywoo... Great video! Yes you can forge weld on an ice cold anvil!
Yes that was what i meen. someting like that😀👍
Glad you enjoyed it
How are you keeping this thing from melting or just doing as much as you can before it's gone
Bulk filming My friend 😉
@@ChristCenteredIronworks i figures lol I just couldn't imagine you using a hoist and lowering it in and out of a deep freezer afterwards
Enough of the circus act already !!!!
Two thousand plus pieces of content on CZcams gives me the right to do whatever I want! Thanks 👍
