Μήπως ξέρει κάποιος πως λέγεται ο τραγουδιστής; Μπορεί να είναι ο Κώστας Σμοκοβίτης;
This song is about the fight of the Greeks for independence from the Turks in 1821. It has become something like a hymn. ''One after one they come to my mind, those glorious years. I wish it was 1821 some time again. I would ride along the threshing floor on a horse and sip wine with Kolokotronis. During the days I'd fight in the fortresses while my sword would be catching fire. And during the starry nights I would hold a beautiful girl in my arms.
...
I would lead the dance in the streets of the town of Moria, followed by Maniots and Psarians...
... I wish it was 1821 again for one night...
