This Paintshop Pro video is a quick and precise video without all the unnecessary talking. It actually shows the icons that are being clicked on by enlarging them. Xyz Tutorial is the BEST OF ALL OF THE VIDEOS that I have watched on PaintShop Pro and I have watched a lot.
If you succeeded following the tutorial, you must have already known the steps that are omitted. To a beginner, this video is an insult... just rubbish!
Followed all instructions just fine until the disabling of the background transparency. No "Vector 1" layer is created. (Your example didn't explicitly instruct to make the background white, but I did anyway. Still no joy.) The outlined image is filled with the background color, but no additional layer is created. Frustrating. Also, when creating points using the Pen tool, we only see the point being created. Your example shows short lines with nodes created with each click. Is there a setting we're missing? We're using PaintShop Pro 19.2.0.7 x64. Thanks for your help.
I suspect this tutorial was created by the same people who wrote the lame manual: too many missed steps to be of any use. Teaching is truly a lost art.

The pencil don't work like is showed in the tutorial. When I clic the pencil don't maintain the outline, bad explanation on this part

OMG..Don't use the pen tool. Use the Lasso freehand tool.
