- The Collector comes from a race of celestial beings who seek to archive and catalog all life in the Demon Realm. Although little is known about his nature, it is shown that the Collector's childhood interests were distinguished from other collectors, whose customs he despised and even omitted them from a collector's guide. The Collector is represented as a childish and fickle entity. He is motivated by simple desires, he wants to have fun and play with others but, like a child, he becomes quite emotional and impatient when his desires are not satisfied. With a temperamental nature and great power at his disposal, the Collector is a dangerous and unpredictable force who will not hesitate to punish those who annoy him and terrorize others into obeying his demands.

Excellent tribute video. I feel this song ties into the Collector's feelings of being alone and not fully comprehending his actions. He is just a misguided child who wants friends.
