Nice video. I only do not see how you connect the 3.5 jack to the MMI (for the audio). It looks like the cable is lying on the dashboard during the movie.
Hello, the MMI cable just gets plugged into the MMI port, nothing else is connected to it. It just needs to register that something is plugged into the port and then AUX is selected on the OEM system for CarPlay Audio. Thank you
@@UNAVItech yes I double checked wiring everything works . Car play pops up. But the thing is when music played I go on my phone and it says playing threw CarPlay but there is no sound being displayed. So I switch to my cars Audi 22473 for music and it works. Is there a reason being v
@@jezylegavec8601 so when connecting this product when you unplug the middle console airbag it causes it to pop on you have to have somebody with Vcds just to turn it off then it’ll be fine. But with the sound not working directly from the apple car play you need to buy the plug in that connects to the Audi mmi port in glove compartment or middle console order from them for 30$ and it greys that function out. And you’ll have sound coming from Apple CarPlay instead of the Audi regular Bluetooth

The product that is displayed is Android Auto and not Apple Carplay for this video. They probably just used an android to demo it(they use android auto instead of CarPlay), most units like this support both android auto and CarPlay
