Hmm, I was thinking you need at least 3, maybe even 4 "don't fucking look at me"s to convey the raw power of a single hand clap anywhere within the vicinity of sensitive ump.
I don't like Boone either but the ump should have at least waited for Boone to exit the dugout. Most umps will let a manager yell what they want about balls & strikes as long as they stay put.
Ump has no business looking back into the dugout. Play ball.
Boone lost it on that call because that was the third ball that was way off the plate that was called a strike in the first two innings of the game. The other two would have been ball four and instead turned into outs later in the at bat just like Gallo's call strike three was a walk too. It really was a horse shit call.
"Let's go," and "Horseshit!" are the official phrases of the MLB.
And "clean it up!"
And "banned substances"
and lets not forget "fuck"

I’m not a huge fan of Boone, but he’s really fun to watch when he yells at the umpire. And when he does, he’s usually right. So I respect that.

Boone was primed because the Ump did the same exact shit to Judge on the previous inning on the same spot by as wide a margin if not a bit more than this one. And funny enough after Boone clapped him he got much better, didn't miss a call by that much in that spot again for the rest of the game. So maybe Umps need a clap sometimes that's all.

As much as I dislike the Yankees, I dislike umpires "making a show" even more. And that's what this duochepire did by staring Boone down till he spoke.
You cant argue balls and strikes. It's in the rules. The umpire could have ejected him before the stare down and been within the rules. The umpire also has a job of controlling the game. That stare was basically a warning. Boone didn't listen.
Also, umpires shouldn't make a show but no one complains about Bonne going out there and screaming his head off. It's more of a show than what the umpire did.
