I have nothing against Shinnok. I think he's done fine in MKX, and I can't imagine how much depth he could have. I can't imagine Shinnook being the Thanos or Killmonger type of character, due to the fact that Shinnok is supposedly the Devil of MK, which means he doesn't need depth and sympathy. Think of Sauron from Lord of the Rings, think of Darkseid as well. Compared to those aforementioned, Shinnok is a simple villain who's decently written, no need to take him too serious.
@GEO G That's a great and valid point. I see Shinnok as one of the most devastating villain in the gaming history, quite similar to what you just mentioned either Thanos or Darkseid. Furthermore, he doesn't deserve sympathy nor he will ever get. So , it would be better if he could be raised to such level like corrupted shinnok + ShangTsung with crown or Kronika with crown + Cetrion power (which Kronika already possess) so that would be one of the best big final boss fight against may be (Kung Lao & LiuKang) or the cage family. Anything would be great.
To me he was done way better than kronika in mk 11 with less scene time than her shinnok is one of my favorite character along with kintaro and shao kahn

May be it's the Raiden killing SHinnok or Revennant kabal doing 🙏🏼 in Shinnok's bone temple. Would have been nice to see him do more screen time I want him back in MK12 for sure.
When is the mobile game coming out??!! Troy baker for shinnok is amazing but where is his mk9 voice actor for shinnok? Like he shows up for a bit and now in mkx he is now voiced by Troy baker plus Erron black and Only Fujin in mkx. I don’t have a problem with it but we could’ve seen mk9 shinnoks voice 🙄

Everyone can say they would, Onaga can say it, but he is not powerful enough to do it, and in fact he never did, he became Shinnok's slave in the netherrealm after his defeat in Deception, and after he was imprisoned there by Nightwolf. So yeah, he couldn't at the end, total opposite.

Kahn was weak but grew stronger and Onaga was poweful but nvr elder god legel on his own he needed the kamidogu for that once again showing he is t as strong as them w.o it. I mean the elder gods are the ones who defeated the one being who individually is the strongest and then the elder gods even individually are the strongest and then ppl like Onaga. Onaga only became so powerful bcuz he borrowed the kamidogu powers which is literally the power of the one being and shinnok is one of those same elder gods that helped defeat the one being and even on his own he almost defeated all the elder gods himself too so he was perhaps the driving force that ended up in the one beings defeat going by this pure logic and not favoritism or who you want to win or be stronger. If you go by what Onaga said he also said he’d be dead if shinnok regains full power and he also said he needed blazes power to defeat shinnok…your whole “he’s going to destroy the elder gods starting with shinnok is a fabricated lie he never said that anywhere it’s just something you want to happen or favoring Onaga. The fact Onaga was defeated by Kahn who is inferior to shinnok saya a lot. Shinnoks lore already had him war with all the elder gods and also all the normal gods all at the same time. Onaga on his own in his own power cannot come Close to their power if he can’t even defeat the versjon of shao Kahn that’s been emperor for a long time now (which btw is a lot stronger version of shaonkajn than when he served Onaga Kahn was a lot weaker then hence why he poisoned him) but Kahn himself empowered was not enough to defeat raiden and the elder gods and it was a quick battle mind you raiden and the elder gods were not even scratched in battle and shinnok newrly destroyed Them all including killing off the gods of earth water and fire. Why do you think it’s only fujin god if wind and raiden around? Bcuz shinnok is the one who killed the gods of earth water and fire who perished in the war that raiden fujin and the elder gods had against shinnok. Shinnok never needed kamidogu or power of blaze or anything to directly almost destroy all the realms and all the gods. They may have defeated him in the end but it was a barely a win and even in onslaught they show them almost dead and struggling against him thst says a lot that he’s already at his full power when he was a full elder god was already a lot stronger than the others whom were enough to put a powered up Kahn down and Kahn put down normal Onaga without the kamidogu so what does thst tell you? What if shinnok had the kamidogu he’d surpass the level of power Onaga had with the kamidogu bcuz logically shinnoks already stronger than both Kahn and Onaga if you compare them all without power ups.
Also cassie beating him was just plot armor she had the power to defeat elder gods whicu is insane but hey thst means she can defeat beings stronger than shao Kahn and Onaga but not shaonkahn or Onaga themselges bcuz she’s just immune to elder gods powers but not immune to Onaga shao Kahn kotal Kahn either. Cassie’s power protects her and makes her completely immune to any damage from shinnok and his attacks have no effect on her but those powers don’t work against ppl Like shaonkahn Onaga or even kotal Kahn bcuz it’s not just a simple power up it is a shield making her completely invulnerable and invincible to any elder gods powers. Imagine if you had the power to defeat gods but not normal ppl and those normal ppl beat you up well that’s basicaly what’s happened with Cassie cage she just happens to have that power. I mean just cuz she’s a girl doesn’t mean she doesn’t have Amazing powers to defeat elder gods the strongest beings in existence after the one being but again that power is EXCLUSIVE ONLY AGSINST THE ELDER GODS it Does not do anything against non gods like shoankahn and Onaga. That’s why shao Kahn defeated her in mk11 bcuz the power didn’t show up but even if it did it would have been completely ineffective against shao Kahn. The way mortal kombat works is you can be the strongest god stronger than outworld emperors like shao Kahn and have a girl who’s weaker than them defeat you but the girl can’t defeat the emperor but the emperor doesn’t mean he dna defeat the god either. Cassie is immune to elder gods completely that’s it…..i mean wfen shiankhan was beaten by kitana in mk11 and kitana had no excuse she’s nowhere near shao Kahn’s level or even less shinnoks but she has no plot armor like cassie did and she still beat him

Johnny defeating him in the first episode itself 🤦🏻 , then later Cassie defeating him when he's in it peak but they got defeated by SubZero and kidnapped by Kotal at some point. Does that mean Kotal can defeat Shinnok which means Shinnok far less powerful than Shao Kahn 🤔🤔🤨 as Shao beheaded Kotal . If we see from transitive relation perspective

I have nothing against Shinnok. I think he's done fine in MKX, and I can't imagine how much depth he could have.
