Question: not "this" video related but, about how long does your ink cartridges on your Sawgrass last? I am about to order one & just wandering if I should get the starter or standard ink to start with. Also, if I use your link for the printer to HPN do you get anything for it?
@@JstcountryGirl hey! It was awhile ago but I am pretty sure I went with the standard ink option because the machine primes its system in the beginning and uses a lot of ink. And yes, my links help support my channel so I’m so grateful. :)

This is really cute & fun. But, something to consider, adhesive isn't forever. When my son was born (35 years ago) I used a event marking calendar with stickers. A few years later I opened the calendar to remember & all of the stickers fell out. Since I hadn't marked in ink before I added the stickers I no longer knew when he met those milestones. Most adhesive doesn't dry up/release that fast, but it is just a reminder. I don't want you to have the same feeling one day. (If you took a pic of the finished project each month you'd have another way to remember those memories!) GOOD LUCK!
I love my Happy Planner! I use mine for my Quiet Time/Devotional journaling. HP has GREAT faith sticker books!! I also use another one for “normal” planning too. It’s such a fun hobby!
I am a kindergarten teacher and I use a Happy Planner for my teacher planner and love it!! I hope you love using yours too!! ❤
I just bought my first HP this year, too, and had decided to use it the same way as you did; as more of a creative outlet and light journaling space. It took exactly 1 spread to get me hooked and I already went back and bought another one to actually plan in. Now, early mornings with my coffee and planner is my favorite time of the day! I know you're busy, but I'm selfishly hoping you'll change your mind and consider filming more of your planner spreads because I think you have something really unique to offer the planner community! Not many content creators use a lot of scrapbooking and card making supplies in their planners...but you could share how to incorporate stamping and stenciling and using paper and die cuts and embossing in your planner. I think that would be something so many crafters could get behind...as well as planner babes!!

I am an addicted happy planner! I use mine for planning and creative outlet mostly, but I do a little bit of journaling in it as well. Thank you for sharing this, I really look forward to coming along with you on your happy planner journey.
I've used Happy planner for years and mine has become a mix of journal as well as planning. As someone who also loves to change things a lot these planners really lend to that because you can change so many parts of the planner to make it "you." You did a beautiful job on your layout. I’ve been using Happy Planner for almost 3 years. I love it. But I’ve come to realize I only like to keep 1 planner … it’s for goals, to dos, events, birthday’s, memories, journaling, just all the things.
I love Happy Planner. Got one last year. First time I used a paper agenda since university and omg so much better. I got tons of stickers and washi tape to decorate the planner for this year!
I still use the Big HP for memory keeping but for everyday planning I gave up my HP and bullet journal. I just love starting with a complete blank slate and being able to change layouts as I need or want for the week!
I like that you have something like this which you do each week to relax, having you time without recording. Keep this up as this helps with self care. God bless

I’ve been doing the Happy Planner for a year and love it! Bought the hole punch and created some of my own pages
Very nice. I do use happy planner for Journaling, writing bible verses and to do lists and appointments
I have the classic planners each year and bought the punch a few years ago, and they don’t fit the squares anymore. I asked them about it and suggested they either fix the squares for this year or release a new punch. They acknowledged the change but no fix either way. I just use the tiny washi to frame the areas now but it’s a pity they can’t just release a new punch.
Enjoy your planner! Last year I purposed to use more of my stickers and curb my spending a little, snd it’s been fun to tear out the empty sticker pages as I use them all up. Then I’ll have an excuse to get more!

I just found your channel and I didn't look through all the comments... but wanted to let you know that the big pink punch is older. Years ago, Happy Planner had a little colored header box in each bigger box, so the punch is sized to punch paper to fit in the box below the little headers. :)

This makes me excited for your future videos like this! I knew our styles were similar, but I didn't know HOW similar! I bought that same planner and I am trying to use it as a journal + pictures too! I have little kids and I want to take and keep as many pictures as I can!

@@Bethadilly I haven't been printing pictures like I want to yet, but I usually try to sit down a couple of times a week to write. So far, I'm doing pretty good. One of the planner girls I watch here on youtube is really good about forgiving herself if she doesn't write for a day or a week. She just skips it and doesn't worry about it anymore. I'm not quite that nice to myself yet because I really do want to document things, so for now, I try to go back and write when I can.

I’m not sure if this will help, but the blue cutter is the correct size for the classic planner. There are different happy planner sizes and different sized box cutters.

I have used a HP for years now but it morphed into a bullet journal type to do list! I just couldn’t keep making such gorgeous layouts and them not really be more than a to do and reminder list!! I still have SO many wonderful stickers that are just sitting. My youngest daughter has been trying to get me to journal my thoughts and if I can do it and decorate it too it would be so much fun!!! Now you’ve got me so excited thinking about it and it will make my daughter happy too! She says it helps us to let go of all the stress of each day so we can rise above our emotions! I was so pleased to see you found The Happy Planner, I’ve been using them for 6 years! Can’t wait to see more spreads from you. Also, quick note, the box punch is older, made for the boxes when there was lines in between, circa 2018ish. Still works but no longer a perfect fit. Have fun!
Loved you plan with me. I too went down that rabbit hole. I tend to rush and get everything I can for a craft, then move on to something else and realize that I completely overthought what I was going to accomplish.

Hi! A few months back, I found a diy planner at the dollar tree . I paid $5 for it but I put it away bc trying to literally "plan" for it all freaked me out. Your video really helped me see my planner in a different light. I really like your idea and I'm going to try it out. TFS! 🥰

This is my first year using the Happy Planner, too. I got the budget planner and a regular planner, but not sure I like the layout I have for it. I journal, write appts and tasks and decorate my planners more so wish now that I had gotten the vertical. I may go back to my regular spiral bound planner but am giving this one a try for now. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on yours.
Love my Happy Planner. Mine is a hybrid of journalling & planning. Seeing my memories, wellness, and to-dos and appointments all in one place gives me a well-rounded snapshot of my life. FYI - You might want to know that it's a discbound system, and that it's discs, not rings 🙂.

I love a planner, but I don't plan my life to the extent that they do. So I decided to make up my own, with the page on the right as a planner with TO DO and a few time slots and appointments, and on the left I'm making a "spread" for the day. With some things that I'm doing, with some scripture and faith stickers etc. Having a lot of fun with it.
I love that! Planners are so personal, so setting them up the best way for you is the way to go! I am still trying to decide what to do with mine! ha ha
So back in the day, Happy Planners had a very thick broad line in the vertical layout. The gap you see is due to this. As the HP evolved and listened to us the lines have been more minimal and neutral. 3 hoping for an update on the punches. I too have a creative journal, memory planner, and work planner. Stickers and using my crafting stash brings me immense joy i can look at everyday. TYFS your joy! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Oh, I was thinking it was sized for the classic planner and looks like Bethany has the Big planner. Guessing only because I only have 9 rings and hers has 11.
@@lorrem2539 the blue was is "sized" for the classic but it poses the same issue. It was made when the broad lines were common in the planners. So it has a gap too. Still works especially with layering

They are just taken out temporarily to design, then placed back in once the layout is complete. :)
