- Sanford Gafford, 45, began taking videos of drug use at the San Francisco Civic Center BART station to bring awareness of the issue to political leaders and police. Gafford shot this video on May 9, 2018 and shared it with KTVU.
Im from NY and i have never seen anything this bad before in my city, San Francisco needs to have a new and better mayor that actually CARES ABOUT HER OWN CITIZENS

Can't believe these happening beautiful state of California. Homeless and drug addicts everywhere and government don't do nothing. The doctors and drug cartels are full responsibility. The government needs to do something destroy those drug cartels. The Mexican government doesn't even care. California needs help stopping these. The government I see is not doing anything to stop these problem.

They should stop giving the cartels 10+ million in state benefits every single month. That money should be given to elderly and veterans to retire. We are also taxed out of every paycheck we earn to fund that. Each homeless person receives 1200$ in ssi and ssdi together, +200$ Ebt food money and free insurance every month and every cent of it is spent on addiction because the state of California doesn’t require them to pass a drug test to receive them every month. It’s easy to put this together that the state legislators choosing to let this continue is a financial deal with the drug cartels. 10 million+ every month is to significant to ignore. It’s robbed from the working persons paycheck to fund this drug problem aswell. Not to mention the millions cities pay to clean up after these druggies. Please speak out about this lack of drug test requirement, There needs to be one on a monthly basis that will stop the drug and cartel problem significantly by not funding it anymore. Don’t give sympathy or donations to the homeless either over 70% are homeless bc of addiction, If they were required to be drug/alcohol free to receive benefits they’d either have to kill themselves someother way or face the facts that 1200$ a month is enough money to group together and afford a place to live even at the current prices. Please don’t support giving free ‘clean drugs’ either bc we pay enough taxes to fund their addictions already when I’d rather it going to someone who’s not hell bent on killing them selves with drugs.

Why should there be any heartfelt comments. I lived through the garbage that is San Francisco. I was homeless and addicted to drugs, so I got off my ass and sought help. Now, my addiction was not even close to as bad as the people in this video, but they get no sympathy from me. These people make a constant choice to use drugs. They do not look for help. They just drain resources to support their addiction. There is plenty of help available for free in the city, but these people do not want it. The city enables their behavior too.
See if you still think the same after living with these addicts near your home and business (while living on your tax dollars too)

@@stickychocolate8155 I was in elementary in the sixties and early seventies, " say no to drugs" was in place and we would watch videos and have displays in classroom, I could image how much more is out there to sway us away from drugs. In my teenage years I had dudes come up to me to try to give me shit, I told them to fuck off! So yea it is no one's fault but theirs. They put themselves in that shit hole. So, no I don't feel sorry for them.
