Sean: sorry our paths didn't cross today. In your Jim Dandy video from last month, we saw the hot walker for Fierceness intervene when he acted-up in the paddock; taking him aside and calming him down before the post parade. My daughter and I were over by the Paddock area with the # 7 & # 8 signs on the tree watching Fierceness warm up today. At one point, there was a brief moment where it looked like Fierceness was going to start to act up; and the handler did a phenomenal job attending to him and alleviating the situation. Don't know his name-but continue to be impressed with the job he is doing. What a tremendously exciting race we all were blessed with today 🐎
Awesome race, thanks for all the footage. I really like Fierceness but I LOVE Thorpedo Anna, she's magnificent! ... just another stride and she would have won it. Great effort by both horses.

Fierceness, brilliant but inconsistent, wins the Travers. Thorpedo Anna, however, impressed the hell out of me. Still, she might do better in the Distaff at the Breeders Cup than the Classic. Surely, this has to be some kind of "win and you're in" for the Breeders Cup Classic.
She Gave It Everything She Had!! Thorpedo Anna ALMOST Won Today's Travers!! Fierceness Was Challanged By A Girl And She Nearly Took Him Down!! This Was On Of The Best Travers EVER!!
@@lauranolastnamegiven3385 Maggie also mentioned that Luis Saez was warming up Dornoch on track differently from the Belmont where he gave Dornoch a real strong warm up. I heard her mention during the walk from the paddock to the track that Luis needed to wake up Dornoch. So he just wasn’t himself. Hopefully, Danny Gargan can get him right again for the Breeder’s Cup Classic.
What a race! Thorpedo Anna really showed the boys. She beat all of them except Fierceness. She almost won, almost made history. She is a great horse. I hope she races against the boys again soon, and wins. ❤

@@CastleMche needs his transmission fixed he can't get out of the starting Gate to begin with & horses with ass end problems usually come from behind after they get their back end warmed up!!!
Great footage yet again. Whenever I hear some of the crowd chatter, I immediately realize why these parimutuel pools are so loaded with gold and why I do so well. The inane, extremely low level of work they put into this creates enormous $$ making opportunities as a player. I love this game. I’d say 80% of players are just blithering fools.
Fierceness was the best horse today, no question, but I really liked Thorpedo Anna. I don’t think the jockey should have held her back when she broke first. She seemed mad there at the end. I predict that on her next race she’ll go to the front and stay there. Sierra Leone is an enigma to me- physically he has what it takes. Is he just not interested in winning? He’s consistently coming in 2nd or 3rd so it’s not like he’s a failure; he does bring in prize money.

She actually did that on her OWN. This filly won't be losing to Fierceness again. That stretch run making up 3 with 110 yards to go is spectacular.
Congrats to Pletcher and Velasquez. They have turned Fierceness into a legitimate racehorse.

She’s already 3 year old filly champion. Maybe she should go in the Classic! Unless she needs to race against older fillies/mares?

Poor Dornoch wasn’t himself his head was hanging low and they did something funky with his mane - still my spirit horse❤

Maggie Wolfendale, on Fox, even mentioned that he was subdued, in the paddock, and he ran like it.

Just like with humans, it is not good to mix horse sexes as they have different purposes. Speed and endurance are different in males and females.
