A genuine country music singer. Could listen to him all day.
I wish country was still this good. Sigh.
So do I have this CD, love this man singing......〽️🎸
But now in present, they still making good country music, alan jackson, Brooks And Dunn, George Strait. They have new albums good stuff
It's amazing how we went from this to Florida Georgia Line in less than twenty years. What the hell happened? This is real talent, and it was the norm in the 90's. We took it for granted.
All those pills.. People wanna be hyped
Amen!!! Love Mark Chestnut!! He didn't get credit like he should have!!!Love his voice!!! Florida Georgia Line makes my ears hurt!!!
Who ever you are it's true
Time for a new OUTLAW MOVEMENT in country music history. We dont have waylon, merle, JC or jones. Whos gonna fill their shoes? NO ONE. Country music is dead and gone.
@@sherazkhawaja9565 Country music is alive and well: Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, Chris Stapleton, and even in the mainstream -- Lainey Wilson, Scotty McCreery, Midland, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, etc..
I wish country music would return to this !!!
This music makes me feel old. I showed it it to my son and he looked at me and said dad “eww what’s wrong with you” what are you listening to !!
@@jwholey36 There are still people putting out classic sounding country but the problem is the youth don't care for it mostly so you get what the people want. Young people play what they want and like, not what the older generation liked or wanted Things change over time, its totally normal and nothing new.
This is real country music right here
Saw Mark Chestnutt twice back in the 90’s and both times he and his band put on one helluva show and I really like his style and voice. A pure country singer for sure.
No doubt one of the greatest COUNTRY MUSIC performers
Love this singer. Many good songs. Never received enough credit.
Totally agree. Mark is one of the best ever lived. His music is gold.
A very young mark,George jones knew mark was going to be successful a special moment for mark.
great country music. all you young folks need to listen to these real country singers. unfortunately country music is officially over. rip george mere and all ones like mark who have been pushed out by what I call garbage country
Greg Harrison Real Country will always be around till king 👑 George Strait passes then after that god help us!
One of the best, so many great songs.
Mark is one of the best Country Singer around. And still even now one of the best Country music. Your fan Always...
Bonnie Christoff VA.beachVa 💘💘
Why, Mark wasn't one of the biggest names in country... I'll never know? Nothing but great music, right from the very start.
Because of Garth brooks and Tim McGraw was a hot ticket while mark was coming out
I think he was. You know sometimes in life the best is not always the loudest. They're more into their art and not always looking for fame and popularity. And Mark was one of those.
@@johnnyhicksjr4699you’re so right. People need to know that wife cheater, tranny supporter Garth Brooks stole Friends in Low Places from Mark. Mark recorded it first. If Garth was the Angel he claims to be he would have told Mark that he should have produced a live version of the song instead of stealing it. A true country boy would have done so. Garth Brooks is a back stabbing, money grubbing, man whore hypocrite. You notice he only had daughters, didn’t have the balls to produce a son. If I met Brooks in person I’d spit tobacco juice in his face.
My gis, he wasn't an A... Kisser.
Although Chesnutt's first release was Doing My Country Thing in 1988 on Axbar Records, he did not break through until his second album, 1990's Too Cold at Home, on MCA Nashville.
too cold at home is such a great true country song and love the steel guitar in it.
Listen to his version of ill think of something
Now that's country, today's music is not
How time flies....seems like yesterday I was singin along with Mark in my chevy pickup.
Most under rated singer of all time
Not enough credit for this great singer I've always loved your music mr chestnutt you should be in the country hall of fame :-)!!!!!
I agree. If you don’t feel something when you hear I’ll Think of Something, you need to check your pulse.
My favorite country singer of all time!!!
I love this guy , he is an awesome singer !
Now this is COUNTRY MUSIC...
I love this live performance of Brother Jukebox. I'm glad he covered that Keith Whitley classic.
Yep 1990/91 I was blessed to attend the tapings every week...good OLE days
Ain’t he a sweet little fella! Sure do love to hear him sing. I can remember when this song very first released! Loved it the first time I got to hear it, and still love it today! Mark is a true country music singer! ♥️♥️♥️
Beaumont boys.
God bless Texas.
Saw him live once and he was completely shit faced! Every single song he sang was awesome. One of the best live performances I've ever seen & I've seen quite a few ♡
Mark a Chesnutt played an acoustic show as part of a tour in 2009 with Tracy Lawrence and Richie McDonald after he left Lonestar the first time. I worked for the local police department and we worked the show. Yeah, Mark Chesnutt had many shots of whiskey I think it was leading up to the show and was as you say pretty shit faced. Great show though for sure.
Talk about great guests!! Wow!
a singer who didnt get enough credit
race hoss sad to say, but when he's dead and gone he will be a legend. He's already a legend to me. He stuck to the traditional country and he sadly faded away..
No. I'll mention some singers who REALLY didnt get enough credit, Ken Holloway Kevin Moon Ken Mellons Jeff Chance Tim Culpepper and many others
Looks like he got a lot of credit to me when you look back at 90s country artists Mark Chesnutt is one of the biggest names out there
Not enuff credit ? Where you been ..Mark has stormed the industry with hit after hit ..many going to # 1 ...numerous CMA Awards ...very respected icon and now a legend ...
I grew up with Jeff Chance ..well i grew up with Jeff Barosh aka Jeff Chance and his bro Mickey & dad Sonny
90’s!!!! I miss YOU!!!!😞😭😭😭😭😭
For the 7 people that gave this a thumbs down, you obviously don't know good country when you hear it..
Great voice.
For my Money this is a Classic !

I used to sing this classic after Mark made it famous. Its so good to hear it again. Thank you very much. I really enjoyed it.
I loved seeing this. Mark is such a cool dude. I got to hang out with him on a couple different occasions when we were both much younger lol.

I sang this at a country club. It went down well. Thanks Mark
loved seeing him and dancing to him at cutters in Beaumont and my wife did the wallpaper in his house
This song and the way he brought it off really sold me on GOOD CM.
The 9 dislikes must be Florida Georgia line fans
I feel awful sorry for them!!! Florida Georgia Line hurts my ears something awful!!! Can not stand them reminds me of fingernails going down a chalkboard!!!
Had the honor to shake his hand right before he went on stage at Gruene Hall.
Saw his first performance on the Opry, singing this song.

The song ol country to me a classic
Love the show.
The First lady graced that show she was the best and I do mean I miss her.
Mark Chesnutt don't get the recognition as he should one hell of a country singer yes he should be in the hall of fame if George Jones was still here he would say the same thing
I really enjoyed listening to this. I could tell you were a little nervous, but did an awesome job.
People just take so much for granted these days don’t seem to notice when someone you really like actually delivers something we like! Maybe a sign that we are getting soft and spoiled? If we don’t show appreciation these gifts don’t stick around they disappear like our freedoms are disappearing!
Thanks for adding this. This show was in 1993 at Fiesta Texas (San Antonio). Source: I was there in the audience.
Thank you,so much, me Chesnutt
Love Mark chesnjtt
Njutt
Fine looking man right there!!

And people wonder why we say country ain't country no more. They sure don't sound like this now. This is country!
Mark placed #10 of the top artist's from the 90's on the hit singles charts. #1 Garth B. #2 George S. #3 Alan J. #4 Clint B. #5 Reba M. #6 Alabama #7 Brooks & Dunn #8 Vince Gill #9 Tim M. #10 Mark Chesnutt pretty impressive list of hit makers!

Everyone gets a run at something. Live for the future. Thank the past for the experiences.
Heard Mark in July in Sealy Texas and will hear him again On Oct 14 in Bellville Texas at a county fair
The best
Thanks for posting video.👍🤠
A nice and cool guy. was at center stage during one of his concerts. He asked where his bear went. I bought him one. And after a song. I yelled. "Play some Waylon".. He and the band went right into a Waylon song. After that. He bent down and took the beer. Chugged it. And threw it reverse underhanded and it hit the drumset. . Then they kept on playing. - True story. Cowboys Red River Texas 1997
Was the same type way at Billybobs just a few months back.. and no bullshit... his voice is the SAME as 20 years ago
🎙️🎸🎻🎹🎼
George can be comical.
I want to see Mark do a faux-duet with Gary Stewart (like Nat and Natalie Cole did). Straight to #1...
1990 the best To cold home and my SON SERGIO VAQUERO
i still prefer Chesnutt over most in 2023. Tradional Country is marks nitche'

Listen at that voice... Man, country.. country ... Country!!
Sing it son!!
He was country then, he’s still country.
You have a B voice we love to hear sing
WOW just WOW
Appearance 🤠
I'am thinking that the tape oringinal recording was not recorded at the time in the right order. which may explan him doing too cold at home first.
Bad Ass
Brother Jukebox
Looking pretty tammy.
TNN is coming back
Right. Eli Manning is way more talented than Al Michaels, and that makes Al Michaels' criticism of Eli Manning completely irrelevant. That's some flawless logic you got there, Robbie!
And he's still way more talented and successful than you'll ever be
Wow you was then starting out
He hit in a time right as real county music was being flushed down the toilet by the pop crap. If he would have hit in early 80s. He would be named up there with Randy Travis or George Strait. Maybe not as great as. But certainly in the same company.
Mark chesnutt God. Christian. TENNESSEE love Eovnne
Who the heck are they?
Too cold at home sums up country music. I think Mark Chestnut should've been more appreciated.
His music isn't as bad as the new modern country music out there, but the hat acts definitely changed the music scene and moved away from the country sounds. At least Mark had some good pedal steel in this song.
You're right Hector. Who's your favorite?
Too many T's.
