Pan-Seared Beef in Broth with Rice Vermicelli

  • This delicious and relatively light dish takes less than half an hour to make. It’s so easy. Just make sure to taste the broth for the right seasoning to your taste. Mine needed additional salt. Add the cabbage along with the carrot sticks, bean sprouts and green onions to the broth. I forgot to add the cabbage at that stage. Anyway don’t overcook. Just let the hot broth soften the vegetables. Also cook the beef to your liking. I prefer it more rare. But again, the hot broth will continue to cook the meat so don’t worry. Just be aware.
