Well, here I am 18 hours later after you posted this. I was the first person to post last night, waiting for a distraction from my work. I've now gotten my work done, and it's a good thing I'm making some money, because I spend plenty watching this channel. You both should get a commission from all the shops. I got halfway through the video and had to go order the fabric and Ink Circles chart Stephanie is working on. Reflections of Amsterdam reminds me of when I lived in the Netherlands for a while. Then I remembered I ordered a fabric that Pam was showing last week.... Now what did that go to??? Something I already had the chart for. Oh, right. Live on Little. Now I've made a list for what goes with what, finished the work, and I'm ready to watch the next half of the video. My husband just rolls his eyes when I say "Monroe, get the list!! Are you making a list???"
My new favorite part of JKS is when Pam switches from her measured, intellectual, thoughtful self into "baby-cat talk mooshy Pam"! It is absolutely adorable and hilarious. From one cat lady to two others...I love it.

Can't believe you are showing old cross stitch books!! I am at this time watching you and going thru a box of cross stitch books from the 1980's and 1990's. I started cross stitiching around 1980 and still have sooo much statch!!

What a fun video! I love your cat! My little stitching buddy crossed the rainbow bridge last year. It is funny to watch other people’s cat get in the middle of the stitching. Oh Steph I stitched that fox from 1990 when I was expecting my daughter! She still has it she said in storage, I decorated her room in wild animals, etc! What a hoot! I remember it had tons of backstitch? It was lovely! Welcome to the old days of cross stitch 😂

Great video, lovely to see you as always. Congratulations Steph on another milestone! One Day at a Time! Another video watched over a week.... We are living at our son's house because (1) our house is having some work done (new kitchen, new craft room, new utility/pantry/extra room); and (2) helping out with grandchild numero uno when grandchild numero dos arrives (due the 13th). I'm VERY curious about the dill pickle candy canes. Those are what my husband would have eaten from the package! Seriously. If you find you need to regift them.... :)

Before I left for work today I saw you had a new FlossTube and got so excited. It was like when a new episode of Great British Baking Show drops …. I think about it all day while delivering mail, planning my meal and what tea I’ll brew. I typically crossstitch while watching other FlossTubes but I like to just watch yours while enjoying dinner 💜 Also I LOVE that Steph got so excited about an apostrophe 🏆 I have a recipe for pickle soup that I need to try. I don’t like candy canes but I would definitely try pickle candy canes! How does one send you real mail? Also, “we don’t do outside” (Steph) needs to be a sampler. And if you want to go to Nantucket, I will join you. It has been decades since I was there …. like 5 decades!

I was going to marry Donny Osmond and my best friend was going to marry David Cassidy. We would hold the mock weddings on my front porch. Yes, I'm outing myself as a child of the 70s. I wound up marrying a good ol' country boy, we've been happy for 40 years. Mostly because he not only puts up with all my sewing and needle crafts but is very encouraging about it all! If I had married a man who couldn't deal with fabric, yarn and thread everywhere I would have loaded up the car, driven off never to return, lol!
Edited to add: I'd really like to see a St. Patrick's Day design that actually features St. Patrick.
My friends were all about Donny and David, but I was gonna marry Mr Spock from Star Trek. He was soooooo cool!

I was yelling at the TV, "I think they are trees! They look like trees! (Referencing the Ink Circles pattern, "Reflections of Amsterdam"). I think you must have heard me (and you read the info on the pattern, too) because suddenly you realized they were trees. Whew! That was close. Ha-ha!!
I think you should install a "Milkshake cam" in the corner on the ceiling, facing where you film. Then insert that recording of her antics in a bottom corner of your FlossTube. That way, we can see what she is doing that you are reacting to. Or add a clip of her jumping around,, etc, at the end of your video. I bet cat and dog lovers, alike, would enjoy that. (Dena of Half-Stitch, Cross-Stitch, always includes video and pictures of her dog Cocoa at the end of her videos. Really cute.).
I have the same frame with mirror from Hillside Samplings. I have one pattern featuring purple flowers. I really like the Letters pattern you found, Pam. There you go...enabling me again! :)

Seeing as how I have several climbers for cats, I can totally relate to the reaction to a certain fuzzball climbing the entertainment center. Tall cabinets are the preference in my house, followed by dog beds.

I know you're looking for the originals, but maybe you'll still be able to get a very elusive one this way. I have to share a proud mom moment… Based on your watching the he Last of Us. My son has been interviewed several times I magazines and talk shows for his research on ants that carries the cordisepts that the game and the series are based on. He works with these “the zombie“ ants in his research at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands.

Hi Jody, those are magnetic cords, which I use to control excess fabric that falls outside the dimensions of my Q-Snap. There are different brands of them, but mine are from Amazon and are quite strong. Here's the link:

Why are you surprised that there would be fewer stitchers in ND? Have you ever been to ND in the winter?! I lived in ND for the first 12 years of my life and come from a very long line of stitchers. My great-grandmother made her wedding gown and the entire bodice was hardanger. My grandmother taught me to stitch at a very young age. I have pieces stitched by north my maternal great-grandmothers in ND.
Hangs head in shame... 😔. I was merely thinking of it as a sparsely populated state. Thanks for putting me in my place.
